1. You will be leveling class skills from scratch anyways, so in effect it is the same as just creating a new character
or
2. You will be automatically granted max level skill lines in your new class, and I am 100% against that.
I do understand some people have mains that they are attached to and don't want to have to get their achievements back, but ultimately that is not enough for me to agree with class change options.

- Each class levels their class skills separately, but shares all other skills.
- Each class remembers skill points spent on that class and re-allocates them automatically when switching. Remembers bar setups as well. Respeccing at a shrine can still be done on a per-class basis.
- Game remembers attribute and champion point allocation on a per-class basis and changes them accordingly. You can still change these at shrines on a per-class basis.
- Optionally have different gear loadouts per class
- Can change class anywhere that isn't PVP, Dungeons, Arenas or Trials with an appropriate cooldown afterwards.
- Add achievements and rewards (like titles, dyes etc) for mastering classes, which involves maxing each skill, leveling every ability and getting each morph to max rank. Include achievements for mastering them all.
- Optional unique visual transformation effects when changing, just to flex.
But I'll settle for a class change token if all else fails.

What is the reason? The blue bar that shows acheivements that do nothing in the game?
If anything then the achievement system needs tuning. But something that has no realistic effect on your character shouldnt be a reason to make a class change token.

Let's keep it looking from the PvE aspect of the game.
For example I made a character when I was still fairly new to the game, who I did level up, spend time playing with the character, got skill points, got skill lines leveled up,etc.
He's a dragonknight wich I found out later on I do not enjoy playing as that class at all as more time I tried to master it.For knowing if you really like a class or not you have to spend time trying it out in my opinion.
He's my Khajiit thief and I would want to change him to nightblade.I use him only for solo playing.
And yes he's on of my alt characters not my main.
So again, what does it affect your gameplay if people like me who found out they don't enjoy playing as a class after trying it out more want to be able to change their class on a character?
As said in other threads about same subject: for me, the class is part of my char personality. A different class = a different toon. I create new.
