So lets go over this step by step.

I'm running some mission where I have to take some package to Alexye's house - this is on my DK character, just purchased the upgrade to Imperial Edition... level 16.

In any case... so I just go off the road a bit trying to get to Alexye's house and find my horse and I blocked by a tree stump. Being on a horse, I go to jump over it.

suddenly the game goes to a loading screen and I end up falling through the world. Now... as I'm falling in excess of 15 seconds I type /stuck. Seemed like a good idea.

Loading screen, falling, loading screen, falling, loading screen, falling. All in rapid succession. Now I'm not entirely if I had a seizure during this blinking screen issue... It is a possibility (THANKS A LOT ZENIMAX. Kidding of course). So I alt tab, Exit the game.

Cool, sounds like a righteous fix right?

Log in screen, "Sorry we can't find your log in information or what ever this message says when we decide to auto-ban you".

Wait... --- re-enter password.

Same Message. Oh F this... Go to the account screen... Account suspended.

*teeth clench, eyes narrow*

Seriously?


So I email these cats, AND AND AND do the call back line thing too...

Get an Email from some dude named Christopher. "You've been banned for breaking the terms of service for suspect behavior, please review the terms of service and figure out how you're a total idiot and broke them." Ok, so he didn't quite say that...

Me - "Dude... I fell through the world... that kind of thing that would be pseudorealistic quantum tunneling type crazy stuff"

Ivan - "We'll get our special team on it"


Me - "I don't need a special team, I need my damn game fixed"

silence....


Now - frankly I love this game... but for the Love of God... you guys know this is an issue, disable the autoban for this, restore my account, and let me get back to getting slapped around by trolls that I have no business fighting!

    Nah I mean I'm trying to take it in stride. I'm trying to be positive and be like... oh these guys... they deal with this crap all the time... but then I see on reddit (AND here) on how jaded people are when they get banned. I'm not feeling very encouraged.

    As far as fell through the world and straight into hell --- dude that would have at least been cool. Like Holy #!$% a whole flipping oblivion plane with lvl 50 monster Daedra just ready to tear me down in one swipe... then it becomes a game of "how long can I survive the swarm"

    no this is just, load loop, Ban.

    PS we have a SPECIAL team looking into your appeal...

    again I state, I don't want your special team. Let them look into something worth a damn, I want my account reinstated so I can go back to being totally brutalized trying to sneak into red missions with the lvl 25 guys... lol

    I'm not sure I want to go that far... I think stupid stuff happens... I do think there needs to be a bit more of a "has previous complaints" type of thing, not someone who is the one who links the team to gold sellers, spammers, botters, node harvesters etc...

    sounds like to me they have anti hack/cheat programming looking for certain anomalies/conditions in the mainframe. due to their clipping bugs, innocent players are feeling the burn from this. collateral damage looks like. (if in fact my theory is correct)

    That's how I'm understanding it... but they really need to be faster when their systems make a mistake.

    The community is pretty good about flagging ***. If someone isn't being one, doesn't have a history of being one... then they should be good to go.

    have you heard back from CS at all? I've put in a callback and email request for this same issue as well as a thread on these forums. Still havn't heard a thing 2 hours later. Honestly I love the game and I'll put up with this set back for tonight, but if I have to go through this again I'll be pretty choked.

    Greetings.

    You are only suspect of violating the Terms of Service, they found It necessary
    to ban the account, until this is investigated they cannot reinstate this account.

    Unless you had gained a advantage through bug abuse, glitch etc It's unlikely
    you have anything to worry about, that said contacting them multiple times can delay the investigation, this can possibly take a couple weeks.

    That does not sound promising at all. My account was hacked once in WoW and was fixed within 30 minutes. If this takes more than tonight to remedy I will stop the payment on my CC for this months sub until I can officially log into my account and deactivate it. I will not be punished for playing the game normally and encountering a weird collision glitch that shot me 15km in the air which I have absolutely zero control over other than using /stuck, which I did.

    Ok, yes I'm an angry ass. I've been locked out of my account for nearly 3 hours now with no reply other than what's on your thread lol. If they're going to have a script auto-ban people, at least have a dedicated staff member to resolve the unjust bannings in a timely fashion. Sitting here and waiting when I could be playing is making me super antsy lol

    I know, I feel the same way. Thankfully I've got Gregory emailing me back at regular intervals. Dude seems pretty legit, and like he genuinely gives a rats ass (well as much as one can seem over email). Its pretty cool that Jordan responded too. Like I said, even if they aren't doing anything with my account ATM, the responses at least keep me from getting pissy.

    Yeah I have a response from Marta now, although she requested my Complete Game time code for account verification. I'm not sure what that is let alone how to access it as my account is suspended and I can't log in to anything lol

    Sadly i think that these issues are going to open the company up for litigation in the near future.

    I mean think about this, if wrongful bans have happened to 150 people - over the course of 1 month thats $11,000+

    at 400 people thats $30,000

    That's just in refunds, that doesn't even count the other damages people could demand.

    Unfortunately for ZOS the subscription model falls very VERY close to a contract model, and likely could be argued as such (depending on the state in which the lawsuit is filed).

    I think that this issue needs to be fixed NOW. Not later. I'm tired of waiting while the money I spent is wasted. Sure its all of 14 hours, I'm not waiting 60+ hours like the others.

    This is an unacceptable business practice. A disappointing design flaw, and ultimately discouraging for myself, other posters and other readers.

    ZOS I am no longer asking you kindly to fix the problem. I'm telling you. Do it immediately, unban accounts - because as I see it this kind of issue is blood in the water for litigators - and those sharks play games you can't fathom.


    Here is a short list of accounts you need to unban IMMEDIATELY.

    1) those who received multiple CE items when upgrading to Imperial edition.
    why? If you really think we wanted 3 crabs taking up our extra bank or mail space you are wrong. This doesn't fall under the duping bug though you have banned people under it.

    2) "I fell through the world and got caught in a loading loop"
    Why? Because its already a pain in the ass that we fell through the world... I'd have expected that from an Alpha, or maybe an early beta... getting banned for... what is it now 16 hours... Ugh.

    3) "I got banned in cyrodiil, because i got stuck and when i got unstuck it flung me across the map"
    What? Yep... that happens too. though it is amusing to see people fly past you at the speed of sound...


    Suggestion of reparations with your customers.

    1) give em a level or two for lost time.
    OR
    2) Give them a free MONTH notice I didn't say days... sorry free days don't make up for the amount of frustration that BS suspensions bring on.
    OR
    3) Upgrade them to Imperial Edition free of charge (or just give em the damn horse)
    OR
    4) Give them 2000 extra in game gold.

    Notice I didn't say give them armor, weapons etc...
    That could be game breaking. 2000 gold aint enough to make a huge difference. Frankly I think you're better off with #2.


    Long story short ZOS.

    FIX IT. FIX IT NOW.

    Agreed. I am NOT going to stand here nicely and be punished for a game glitch. I've received ONE reply to my ticket so far, and that was from someone asking for verification information which I can't retrieve from my account...BECAUSE IT'S SUSPENDED. Long story short, I'm a paying customer and I worked in the service industry for many years to put myself through school so I know what should be an acceptable demand on my end. Unban my account TODAY before I get home from work or go ahead and unsub me (since I can't access my account to take care of that). In addition, compensate my account for lost play time. I don't care if it's a week or a month. Just show me that you want to make up for this error, caused by your system. I am in no way responsible for this unjust banning.

    I have a friend who got suspended similarly to the OP. He was stuck in free fall and used the /stuck command. At which point he was booted with the "Text message queue full, you are suspected of spamming" message. After logging back in he was quickly booted again and now his account is suspended. Please, ZOS, take a loot at his appeal. His ticket numbers are
