Yet nothing has been done.
They are needlessly annoying!
And yes, I do let them pile up because running to a spot out of the way (in most cases) for 1 is a waste of time.
Going to a preview house still requires 2 loads and likely a significant delay.

They should also have a compass arrow pointing to their location

not everyone uses addons (Stadia player, console player) so a better function for players without might be good.
I am using an addon to show them, too, but i can understand those who want it in base-game included.

@ZOS_GinaBruno I heard you are community manager in english forum. Would it be possible to forward this issue to developer staff and ask if its possible to do improvements to the survey systems?

I didn't mention add-ons. I meant the actual maps.
I would rather they just add a cool down for example the moment you finish harvesting the current survey 5 - 10 seconds later the next survey's nodes appear without having to run or ride off into the distance to reset the location.

If this change were to made it in, i think we can all agree this would make the whole situation alot easier.
Place an activator at the chosen location; if you have a valid survey for the location in your inventory at the time of interacting with the activator the survey gets consumed and the nodes spawn.
You could include a courtesy 'Do you really want to go ahead?' prompt if you try to interact with the activator while active nodes still exist to avoid wasteful mistakes.
Not the most immersive solution mind you, but no more need to run to and fro like a maniac either.
Personally I just do them daily which means I rarely get duplicates but I understand this might not be optimal for everyone.

I have perfected doing it at right distance - if it will be too short, it won't reset, if it will to long distance, then you wasting your time.I find the two load screens is quicker than the running away, waiting, and running back.

This has been around a long time and they have shown no indication of doing anything or even caring about the issue..

Well, it probably depends on the situation (looking at one jewelry node at the cliff in Wrotghar^^) so both options could be optimal - depending on the situation (also, some Craglorn nodes surrounded by mobs).

Absolutely not. That's why it's one of the most commonly used add-ons for pc and why console players heavily frequent the sites that list where they are. I mean look at this garbage. Where is the roads? Identifying landmarks? Anything but it's general direction?
