No refund in 2 weeks

On March 30 I bought TESO but due to financial issues I requested a refund the next day. I was told the refund had been processed and in my purchase history it states a refund was given that day. I was told to contact them again if the money wasn't received between 5-10 days. On the night of the 10th day, I sent a message however all I got was to contact my "financial institution" (paypal? my bank? what are they talking about???) and I contacted paypal for help. They just sent me back one of those pre made messages about refunds that provided no help whatsoever. It's going to be 2 weeks soon and I'm tired of waiting.

I'm getting tired of pre made messages and I want to have some clue as to what happened to me $80. Is it being refunded? Was is stolen? Is it in financial purgatory waiting to be released? Can anyone help me?

Heh, don't hold your breath. I waited 2.5 weeks for a name change, they will be in no hurry to give you your money back.

In my line of work we refund approximately $20,000 or more per week in security deposits and once we release the funds on our end, it has to go through our portal, then our processor, then our bank. Once the outgoing funds are accounted for and verified it then has to go through your bank/financial institution/paypal's (depending on how you have your paypal setup) portal, processor and bank before it finds its way to your individual account. All of these steps vary in the length of time it takes from case to case, but I've had clients that have had to wait over 30 days from the day we issued the refund to have it show up on their account.

Zenimax has done what they can, now it's up to all the middle-men.
