still running after close and freezing logins

So I run the updater, select pts, hit play. Bethesda logo flashes, zenimax flashes (as intended), I get to the login screen. Enter my username and password. the screen changes as it attempts to load the char select screen. then it freezes. I'v repaired and uninstalled and reinstalled the PTS. To no avail.
once I close the programs i can still see it running in task manager. somehow its not completely closing. I've noticed this on the live servers too when I exit.

Is this loading issue only happening on the PTS or does it happen live?
If you are loading any add-ons when logging into the PTS server, you may want to try removing them.

I'm not very familiar with the ESO API, but I'm fairly certain it doesn't allow you to spin off a separate process.Edited by Alucardo on July 19, 2021 6:02PM0
