I prefer it this way.

I mean 18% on any DoT or Channel is ridiculously overtuned. That is almost two Thaumaturges!
I am thinking Destro Ult or MagPlar.

Right now on magplar it's like 8k behind bahsei + siroria/dv combo. Two thaums aren't a lot of damage. If you parse without any slottables, and then manually calculate the added dps, it's about 2k dps added on plars.Two thaums end up being 4k. Some of the best skills on plar are not buffed by it.

There's very lil amount of dps added on dots, wall dots don't hit hard the explosion isn't buffed, burning light is ST so isn't affected, solar barrage is probably the worst dot in the game other than empower it provides, spear other than initial hit hits like a wet noodle and initial hit isn't buffed, destro ult will hit quite hard, but destro ult is only good situationally, right now dawnbreaker hits harder due to the spell damage added.

PL, best magplar dot this pts, is not affected by it as it's a single target bomb. What ends up adding the damage is the beam and the sweeps, which sounds a lot, until you parse and realize it's 8k dps behind the other meta combinations. So on being hybrid, it'll barely break even, even then it'll be less, but will just add another interesting variety to the mag game. The beam itself isn't really strong on content since templar beams are channelled so you are *** if you need to block/dodge or turn around to hit other enemies which happens quite often in vet trials, unlike blades where you can block-cast your execute, which on real content isn't really as good as you are thinking it to be.

On other classes other than dk it's gonna be really weak, dks might get a lot of out of it, which is good because dk's are struggling real hard in dps game right now, which will make them even with other classes which is a good thing.

Now the day rele gets hybrid is the day I stop wearing any other set, that would be something interesting kekw.
