It just causes the progress bar icon to stop spinning after a few seconds and gets stuck on the loading screen. Closing the window using the icon in the taskbar still keeps the process open, so while you can't see the window anymore the music is still playing...
I've tried a few times now with the same result. Had to force close it using the task manager.

✭✭I can't test myself as I'm on console but I know some people have had problems logging in with it enabled

Yeah I can log in perfectly fine with it turned off (default setting), but I just figured I'd test it out.0
