2 – Adds 1487 Offensive Penetration
3 – Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
4 – Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
5 – Dealing direct damage to an enemy turns them into a Plague Carrier for 10 seconds, dealing Disease Damage over the duration. If the plague is removed early, it explodes, infecting enemies within 8 meters of the carrier dealing Disease Damage. The explosion deals an additional 10% per enemy hit. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds and scales off of the higher of your Weapon or Spell Damage.
though not that strong.
DK has been shoved as the "dot class" by ZOS and players trying to keep it down. lacking base functionality of a decent spamable, any form of execute, or burst outside of ults, etc. etc.
this has always been countered with "oh well you suck so bad because your supposed to slowly burn down your opponent over time with dots. . .ignoring the massive amount of cleanses that exist in the game (except for DK's once again)
adding a plaguebreak style of effect thats simply:
-if the dot is removed early it deals X amount of damage (X being something like half the total tooltip or whatever works)
this wont change PvE DPS parses, and will only help the class in PvP where its dots are instantly purged away by the massive amount of effects in game, as well as would separate DK dots out from other dots by having this unique functionality, as the "dot class" should.
would honestly love for corrosive armor to get a buff to its AoE as well, or something to be more of a threat and option to use, as its damage cap mechanic is terrible, pen does not effect dots (dot class once again folks) and aoe damage is a sad trivial amount of tacked on damage, all for too much cost.
