Tbf, I only started playing in 2016 and I clocked that 1,800hrs in just over 18 months. I stopped playing for 2 years but I'm back now.

✭✭✭✭✭You can do /played across all your characters to see your actual playtime versus what Steam tracks through the launcher. It reads out in days/hours/minutes/seconds though so it takes a bit of mathing to compare the two.

I already deleted probably like 30 - 50 characters and still have about 3 - 4k hours on the chars i have left.

Doc45✭✭✭9,928 showing on Steam and 255 days showing on /played for my main. I have no idea how much of the Steam time was it just being left open vs. playing on alts (I have 17 alts). I don't see the total time spent as a flex though. A lot of that time was spent chatting with others about things that were often not game related, crafting for newer players, helping run guilds, etc. Reflecting back over the five years since I first signed into ESO, the times I was doing those things and not just actively "playing" were the more rewarding.0 -

Fair point, that would be 7276 hours doing /played.
The gap with Steam would be the idle/patch-time ( I sincerely hope) and my dead, buried and deleted characters..
