There should be a seperate No-CP campaign with procs

"PvP Campaign Changes
For Update 31, the existing No-CP Cyrodiil and Imperial City campaigns will now also prohibit proc sets from firing. We have expanded the number of sets from the original grouping that worked during the initial test several months ago."

This should not go through as planned, there needs to be two seperate No-CP campaigns to allow people who still wish to use any set to play in or more sets need to be added to the list of sets that can be used in no-proc (i.e. Clever Alchemist, Balorgh, Burning Spellweave etc). This is leaving No-CP players with very little choice on which Cyrodiil campaign to play in, especially for those who don't enjoy CP PvP. I would propose keeping the current Ravenwatch as it is and adding a seperate no-proc campaign to accomodate those who wish to play no-cp with and without procs.

No idea why this isn't targeted to BlackReach, the already odd one out. I would be way more pissed about this applying to Ravenwatch if New World wasn't dropping at the same time.

And a CP campaign with no procs, for the CP players who like that gameplay and dislike No CP.

Sure, it's no good when we get too many dead campaigns. On the other hand, it's no fun when there are too few options.

    Guys,

Did you bother reading the upcoming list of sets? It's a proc fest anyway. Its just no "damage" procs really. I believe there's even a mythic on the list.

The list of sets that work is being greatly increased.
    Can't please everybody.

Is this in regular IC or just no-cp?

    Also, any effect on BGs?

Basically what OP said. Give us Ravenwatch as it is, make a new campaign for those that don't like procs.

Last patch was bad enough, not everyone enjoys no proc, not every playstyle or class can adapt to it equally well. And now you're tying no CP mains' hands like this. Please reconsider this decision.

    Thank you.

@ZoS_GinaBruno is this intended or not? I recall the thread after no-proc had ended explaining how a seperate campaign without proc sets would be added, and not a pre-existing campaign (No-CP proc, aka Ravenwatch) being stripped from us.

This needs to be a separate campaign.

Ravenwatch players didn't ask for this and many (most...) Ravenwatch players don't want this.

Why is our home campaign being sacrificed to appease what amounts to a vocal minority of players?

If they'd just idk fix the procs that are causing issues instead of removing them, that'd be dandy

It's also not the cause of lag. They help enable the playatyle that does cause it, but sets themselves don't cause lag.

Yeah this is a huge bait-and-switch that destroys that Ravenwatch that most players know and love.

My subscription is definitely teetering on the edge at this point.

So punish Blackreach people who can't get into the main campaign because it's always pop-locked on their time zone by changing their campaign? How is that meant to be better??

If it's a "punishment" as you claim, then the less people who are punished the better.

ZOS should have added an extra campaign to gauge the interest in the format.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

Excuse me, what? Did you forget all the healing utility sets, like Earthgore, Transmutation, etc? Not even New Moon Acolyte is included in this list, and by no sane metric is NMA a proc set.

And how about VD? The solo bomber playstyle, one of the greatest banes of ball groups, is dead without VD, so when we inevitably dominate PuGs with ease just like we did during the no-proc testing most folks will target us even more than usual. Now at least we have to be aware of our positioning so we don't get bombed, which is the only thing a solo player can do to stop us.

Maybe, you know, ZOS could simply create a fourth server? Server space is insanely cheap for a company the size of ZOS, but they are frugal from what we've seen, so no chance of that happening any time soon. So, yes, if any server needs to be cannibalised for this unneeded new idea, it should be Blackreach, since hardly anyone ever plays there.

Lol if they replaced blackreach with their no proc, no CP campaign it would be dead in a day. That's why they're replacing Ravenwatch because they know we have nowhere else to go

Welcome to the new empty campaign.

Which would be clear proof that the No-Proc format is not popular with actual players, despite it being foisted upon them without their consent.

Can this get some form of acknowledgment please? This is a very drastic change that the vast majority of No CP players did not ask for. @ZOS_GinaBruno

Strange decision. Most of the hard-core "no proc sets", fans are mostly CP campaigns players, while the No-CP campaigns players are mostly the BG players as well where proc sets are allowed.

I might actually have to play with CP, don't I? Bleh.

I'll be honest, while I'm happy it's a no cp thing, I wish it wasn't on my home campaign, Ravenwatch. I'd happily play them both, but I would have liked the option.

Can we get any sort of update or acknowledgment of this? This cannot go live as it is, forcing No CP players into a campaign most do not wish to play is not healthy and will result in Cyrodiil’s already declining population declining even more.

Indeed. All of my favorite stat-based "proc sets" (e.g. Clever Alchemist, Scathing Mage, Moon Hunter, BSW, Balorgh, etc.) are banned so I will be searching for a new home campaign.

How considerate of ZOS to ruin the campaign for existing players without so much as asking them first if they agreed with the changes.

My subscription will 100% not be renewed next month.

How about if they replace the U50 campaign with a no CP/no proc campaign.

I doubt the super organized ball style groups would play a campaign like that and having somewhat limited sets does make it a little more accessible so it might be more beginner friendly than current vet options. Might turn into a place to recruit new players. Just thinking out loud (yes I am).

Get more people into PvP not less!

I'm actually alright with the change to Ravenwatch. It's not the approach I would use to fix the underlying issues causing lag, but I understand why they went this way. Plus I can jump in GH if I get the itch to try a build with procs.
