Hi there.
Just received some in-game mail that seems a little fishy to me.
I was wondering is this was the kind of mails that I'm supposed to report. Or is it allowed to send things like this?

It said the following (my pc won't make a screen-shot for some reason):

"Get Ahead in Elder Scrolls online with out it

[], loo K for 16 Dollars, Plz delete-
"*-"You can Visit ,there have the stuff which u want, this is the best choice for u !!

Materials, items and armor are on hotsale
Dreugh Wax 5,9
Tempering Alloy 5,9
Honing Stone 1,99
Elegant Lining 1,99
Grain Solvent 1,99
Racial Motifs 14:Daedric 34,9 "

So, should I report this?

You might edit the url out of it, or they might decide to boot you from the forums ;)

But yes, that is exactly what we are supposed to report.

Didn't even realise I had added that, lol (I suppose it is the part with all the * and - right?) Just typed it the way it was send to me without the name of the sender, thought that would be enough.
I'll remove it in a sec. Thanks for the warning!

I'll report it as soon as I'm on-line again.

We edited out the URL in the OP, to avoid people going to any malicious websites. Yes, we highly encourage our players to please report gold seller spam and bots anywhere they see them. This will help us act even faster to rid Tamriel of them. Thanks!

I got that exact same Mail and reported it right away.. if someone is selling something from an external site for real money just report it.. we dont want that in ESO.. and most of the time the site is just a scam to get your account details or credit card information.. either way you are going to lose out.. report them then delete the mail... you wont lose anything by doing that ;)

Wasn't going to take them up on the offer anyway. I like playing the game as it is without cheating.
I have reported them and will do the same with others.

Funnies thing is, where do those guys get our account names to send those messages. I belong only to one guild and we have very strict recruitment policies, so I am sure nobody gave away those. As far as I know you need to know somoeone's character name in order to send them a message and since I haven't encountered a single bot, by leveling fast in early acces period, they shouldn't know my character's name either. There isn't any public character database either, like WoW's battlenet. So, how on earth I am getting a spam message like this every day?
