Soft cap to damage increased by attributes

Hi! Some other ESO players told me that attributes like magicka or stamina have a damage a cap to the damage that they can increase, so after 30k of max magicka or stamina the damage you get from them becomes less and less. Anyone have any information about this?

✭✭Softcaps have been removed from the game a long time ago (I think it was back in 2015). Nowerdays damage scales linear.
However, if you want to maximize your damage you usually still don't go for much more magicka or stamina, since other stats like weapon damage or crit chance generally add more dps.1
