Scroll runner trolls are RUINING pvp!!

ZOS, it's time for you to FINALLY do something about these trolls that take the scrolls from enemy temples and REFUSE to run them back OUT OF SPITE! They get off on grieving everyone else in the alliance which means that we can't turn in scrolls, take new ones, earn more AP, focus on other keeps etc. It is YOUR responsibility to take action and counter-act behaviour like this! People keep reporting these three on Ravenwatch PC EU-server over and over again but NOTHING happens! Is THIS how you treat paying customers?? Letting a handful destroy the experience for others??

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! TIME TO BAN THEM!! All they do is grieve people either in towns when doing quests or with scrolls! No wonder people are starting to hate this game!

Oh, forgot to add that they have BOTH AD scrolls at AD tri-keep area. They've done this for weeks!!

Naming and shaming is forbidden [snip]

I do however agree with you 1000%, a couple of days ago in the Ravenwatch campaign on PC EU we had the hammer spawn on AD side. We waited for ~5 minutes for it to move, but whoever took it just ran left and right at the spawn.
This person then decided to conclude it's beautiful perfomance by hand delivering it to Sejanus which had ~30 reds in it.

Same thing keeps on happening with scrolls. There is no point in even getting mad anymore. We are the only ones caring about PvP.

OH DEAR, what a surprise! It's an AD scroll they are messing around with now. Never saw that before.

Wow, naming and shaming innocent players... @ZOS_AntonioP please remove post.

    They're not innocent players though.
Even if they're paying customers, since when is trolling and abusing a system not against the TOS?

    What system is abused?

Did you read the post? If an AD picks up a scroll and refuses to deliver it back that's obviously not how they're intended to be used. If you bounce them with your friends from other alliances around for weeks you're obviously sabotaging the gameplay of others. You could have fun with your friends with ganking or even duelling other alliance partners but carelessly abusing the scroll system is wrong and I'm nearly 100% it should be considered trolling and the harsh way of forum moderation should be applied ingame as well in this case.

Back in my SWG days, this thread would be chock full of "In Before Lock" posts.

Seriously, naming and shaming, for better or worse (and, honestly, it is sometimes very much for worse) is against the rules. A better explanation of exactly what they're doing and how you think they're doing it would be more productive.

It isn't anyone's gameplay. If you pick up a scroll, run around, lose it, you are actually putting your whole Alliance at a disadvantage because of the decision of one individual.

You are not supposed to go run a marathon with an Elder Scroll, nor bounce them betwee alliances. One thing is picking it up with half the server covering your back, another thing is throwing it left and right between the same 2 players, as the names of who picks them up gets displayed in full view.

But sure, sorry for wanting my alliance to actually enjoy the bonuses of a Scroll. I forgot we were playing football.

Next time you need to take the scroll then you can deliver it or whichever action pleases you

I did take it but got killed on the way north. One of the trolls took the scroll and the AD left him alone. You don't have to be a genius to understand that they are helping AD.

oooor maybe the AD knew them and didnt want to kill them? You know, you can have chars in other factions

I'll tell you what, I'll never bring this issue up again if you can answer me this:

What is the purpose of the point system in Cyrodiil 30-day campaigns and how does not taking scrolls to your own alliance keeps benefit the score especially when the scroll resets to the enemy temple after all that time loitering around?

What is the point of pvp if you only do that at 3am when there's NO ENEMIES around and during the day youre unable to do even half of that? They should just make cyrodiil pve then and then people like you do rpve otations capping things without being able to be killed cause this is exactly the pvp experience that YOU want to play and force upon others.

This is a great opportunity for ZOS to step in and make some sweeping changes.

There's alot of bitterness actually between factions ever since ppl started handling scrolls out of spite.

Rest assured there's an easy fix and them fixing this would be a great time to make changes for other things as well.

They did, they have locked campaigns for campaign loyalists and roleplayers

personally, I think scrolls shouldn't even be locked behind gates. let the players run all over the map with them! You should see the fights you can get. Have you ever had eso pvp on top of a mountain? Its amazing and I want more fight like that pls.

Maybe they should make it so that holding an elder scroll is like holding a chaosball from BG, where there's increasingly ridiculous damage being done to you. The lore excuse they could use is that the alliances put some sort of protective barrier on the scrolls so that they could not be handled for long.

Of course they havent. Most of the people crying about the scrolls are the same people that cap them without enemies at 2am-3am. That's their pvp

That would be called AP farming, not true PvP. An organized group trolling the scroll can farm the trickle of defenders that actually care about Scrolls indefinitely unless the amount of defenders coming for the scroll eventually outnumbers the group at least 3 to 1. The mountain top, the Nirnroot Wine houses, the houses in Cropsford or Vlastarus, any Resource tower. They're all farms and not fights.

you know who doesn't fight? Cappers who just siege empty keeps at 2-3am to reach the scrolls XD

Some players don't care about the campaign outcome. A few campaign points is all very well but some may prefer the vast amount of AP you can get for farming the scroll in a building. It might be annoying but that's how it is. If you want the scrolls run back properly, get a group together and recapture and run them yourself.

That farm still has more PvP than the siege simulator.

Pvp is so dead at this point the only way to get proper fights in a 6-12 man organized group is to take home keeps or scrolls. Otherwise you dont get enough attention and wont get a proper fight.
