There are more who support AD but those are quiet.
Only EP and DC people are loud on forums saying how much they hate AD, that is why it gives that impression.

My impression thus far is that the motivations behind each alliance is as solid as solid can be. I rly liked AD storyline and the concept behind it feels like home, and the sidekick is punk to me
. In Cyro you can curate your zone chat so that it satisfies what you need to know and want to do and act upon, should you choose to do so. We are largely solos acting in consensus, and I wouldn’t have it otherwise. 0 -

DC has the best story
AD is 2nd but has the best starting island and everyday efficient crafting places
EP has the worst story ( you have the least interaction with their leader) but some of my favorite delves and the one I've supported most since launch, go figure.
But since the very beginning, I've hated the idea of a character having to be tied to one faction. ✭I support no faction.My main PvP toon is blue but I have characters in every faction and I'm not loyal to any particular alliance. I will play for the team I'm on at any given moment, though. It's like battlegrounds to me. I just feel inexplicable animosity towards any AD players.0 -

At first, we thought it was most of Skyrim, all of Morrowind, and three parts of Black Marsh (making up half of the province) fighting a much more united DC and AD. Later, it turns out that maybe half of Skyrim at most, a small fraction of Black Marsh, and Morrowind minus House Telvanni (and possibly Dres?) can take on a united AD and a DC consisting of All of High Rock, the Orcs in Orsinium, and a large part of Hammerfell. And there's no evidence at all that any of the "gods" of Morrowind take part in the war in Cyrodiil to even things out.1 -

I Guess nords are just too overpowered.

I will say, though, that is a little sad to see the game move further and further away from fostering a sense of alliance pride. One Tamriel, unlocking campaigns for faction swapping, alliance change tokens, removing alliance specific backdrops to the character selection screen... I'm sure there is more I'm missing.
There used to be more faction esprit de corps that was enjoyable and really helped to build a sense of community, especially when fighting in cyrodiil, where both friend and foe became familiar and a staple in the same campaign. But now? It's mostly gone...In game ID: @KnightOfTacoma

Nagastani✭✭✭✭Daggerfall CovenantI would avoid AD to be honest. Its a beautiful faction but something's wrong over there. I don't quite understand it but unless you have a reason for running with AD I'd avoid that faction. I think much of the problem stems from all the back-stabbing. For example, I was AD for a long time until I started playing on Blackreach. Here's a quick story to help illustrate this point...
So one night I was on Blackreach after recently joining one of the main AD PvP Guilds that runs there. Long story short, we was returning I think a blue scroll and a red group died near the scroll carrying the Hammer. Now on many occasions, Hammer and Scroll run together and I've seen this done many times from my days with EP and DC. But what happened this time was when I picked-up the Hammer to bring back to the group... they all ran. I **** you not... every one of them either ran away from me or just stood there and refused to help me. So... I was furious with them and still am. They said that AD doesn't support elitists... what the **** does that mean? I mean, thank you for the compliment but damn. My buddy told me I wasn't intended to grab the Hammer, they wanted one of the actual elitists from their PvP Guild to take it but I just happened to get there one step ahead of him. So they all ran from me... and when I say run... I mean at FULL SPEED. And that's what I want to know is why is it ok for AD elitists to dunk another factions scroll, brag about it, post videos about it, but someone takes the hammer or even scroll out of turn and you guys bail.
I know that no faction is perfect and it's just a game but always remember no matter who you are over there AD is not yo friend.Edited by Nagastani on June 30, 2021 12:22AM0 -
