(NOTE: This is written in an somewhat satiric rant style, but even though you shouldn't take it word for word the topic behind it realy is one that matters a great lot to me, thanks.)

Dear ZEN ...

Why... just WHY... can I put an ENTIRE horse in my room but if I try to put a tini-weeni itsy tiny decorative object inside my empty shelf, the game TOTALY freaks out, yelling at me how I dare, telling the room is full and I'm an idiot... realy?... MY ROOM IS AS SPARECLY DECORATED AS A PRISON CELL god damit... . The room in Vvwarenfell is beautifull ... and compared to the others like in Auridon its realy big and I totaly enjoy that... made it instatly my beloved main home. I have my Bed behind a curtain, a little living area, a little kitchen... a WHOLE QUATER of the room that is still so COMPLEETLY EMPTY you hear the crickets cry in the distance ... But the game tells me the room is full. And I have ESO Plus, paid, so double the Furnishing, right? Well... IF THAT IS DOUBLE THE FURNISH, then how the damn heck were you supposed to furnish it in the first place? Like an actual prison cell? Well, the most nice looking one, grant you that but still a prison cell isn't it then? But a horse is okay... or how about two? That makes NO SENCE to me or anyone on this planet (I guess) and takes so much immersion out of it and an entire game mechanic that I normaly would totaly enjoy to the moon and back because I just love making my Character a home, is not just dissapointing me but making me sad.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day on your couch, but no pillows 'cause the room is full.

Best Regards

Tell me your thoughts and maybe ZEN will even read and respond to it if we have a sprong point there.

Thank you for reading, have a nice day

I allready stated myself thats a saticical style rant :) so I am aware of it. But when I am emotionaly involved in something that buggs me I tend to use this form of pointed exaggerating expression.

By the way, this is how the room looks and realy everything what is in it. There is so much potential for making it my home that I just can't use because the game won't let me in it's current system.

Totally agree. But I guess they want you to buy 12 houses instead. Kinda breaks the own house idea.
I use just one too and the rest just store unused furnishings.

The thing is, that I am actualy saving up gold to buy a "real" House, the Sleek Creek House in Reaper's March to be exactly, but I am not sure anymore it that will make me happy any longer if the game won't allow me to furnish and decorate it awesomely. -w-

Maybe they want you to put a few big things in it? Like the rebuilt Volcano (Vvardenfell Achievement) or the Vivic Statue (Vvardenfell Achievement Furnisher). I havn't done anything with this house yet as I try to style them to the style they are set for.

What annoys me is there is not even any houses for the Indoril or Dres style yet there are furnishings for them! I guess I might have to use this house for one of them. :(

Please do buy more houses, you will find they are more suited to what you want. I have 50 so far myself and plan on buying all in time. Yes 50 sounds like a lot but not really when they are all the free/cheapest ones with only a few Crown ones so far lol.

Step 1: Craft most any rug, wall hanging or piece of furniture
Step 2: Try to figure out why it looks rumpled, torn and timeworn
    Step 3: ???

You will run into the same problem with the bigger houses, feels as though you just started decorating, plenty of space visible to put stuff but your at the furnishing limit before you know it so you can't.

AFAIK, being new to the forums, there has been tons of complaints and requests about the space in housing, particularly the bigger houses. The smaller ones are easy to fill (mostly) within the limits, but the bigger ones are just soarly underpriviliged with space.

I would specifically add that the room for pets and houseguests is very limiting.

As I understand, the devs say that more space would cause issues, but I am no expert on the matter of course.

They have already stated that it's currently technologically impossible to increase the old furniture limit due to old pcs and consoles.

have the devs ever said what issues? for fallout 76 they use the excuse of lag for other players, that makes sense since the houses are built in the open world and it does lag out players with lower end pcs. increase the limit enough and it'd happen to higher end pcs also. though last i heard they were talking about adding a placeable entrance to an instanced section for housing so they could increase item placement cap.

if placing doors between rooms and forcing a loading screen to travel between each would let us have 700 cap for each room, i'd be all for that. but then again, that would make the more massive rooms they like to create and cash in on, a lot less appealing.

The inn rooms itemlimit requires some imagination, especially the bigger rooms like Vivec's. Work with what you have, not with what you want. Use bigger slot saving furniture spread out in the room to fill it out, rugs and tapestries to make it feel cosier, then add a little clutter. If you try place a bunch of clutter before you've filled it out the few inn slots will be eaten up.

The staple, classic and other small/medium/large sized houses got a much better itemlimit/size ratio.
