Tide-Glass beads lead

I spent some time in Shadowfen looking for water/water plant nodes on my way to a mages guild daily. I found 2 water hyacinth, one that someone else grabbed while I killed a wasp. After my quest, I found a pure water spot, which I am currently standing at. Just standing here, harvesting it every time it spawns. And I saw plenty of other people who are obviously doing the same thing. I saw someone in chat say they had harvested 2,000 nodes and no lead.
A few days ago, I posted on here about getting leads from dungeon bosses, but at least those leads require an engaging activity where you are actually doing something.
I now I don't have to stand here and farm, but there are some many people that I feel I have better chance doing this, rather than running around looking for other nodes.
This is NOT fun. Is it possible the devs might consider changing the drop location of this lead? Give it to a Shadowfen WB, or the crocodiles, there's a million of those in Shadowfen.

So far up to 837 water hyacinth with no lead.
Getting so annoyed I don't even want the damn mythic anymore ..... 😐

Unless you're running hardmode raids (vCR, vRG, vKR, vSS) you don't need it. Yes your non-HM runs will be more efficient with it as well, but you don't actually need it. Its a question of efficiency really.

The WB is probably the better option. The crocodiles would be no better than now. Likely even worse as there are less crocodiles than water based nodes.

Yep, after 12 hours or so I just told my team that I'm not getting that mythic.

The crocodiles was kind of a joke, because I feel like i've seen a million of them while running around Shadowdfen.

I feel like I am lucky with getting these leads, only spent 20-25 mins getting it, however I did have trouble finding water nodes or water plant nodes, but I found an area that wasn't being spawned and got it on the third or fourth node.

You've gotten by without it for how many months/years? Just play the game as you always have and go back in a month or two when the goldrush has subsided.

I drop in the zone every now and then when waiting for a random to pop and run around grabbing what I see. No point in hardcore camping it right now unless you enjoy that kind of thing.

Actually, I think you'll have more luck if you move around and harvest random nodes. It took me two evenings of doing that and then I had the lead. ^^;;

Oh great, we have another bad man's hollows situation. Everyone looking for the same lead and not enough of the sources for the lead. There may be plenty of water and water plant nodes, but if 1000 players are all hunting them at the same time they will be few and far between.

I finally got mine after doing a bazillion loops in Sanguines Demesne farming water sacks. At least there's things to kill while you farm, and the sacks respawn quickly

ive got that leads 3 times so far

1st took me 12h
2nd took me 4h
and 3rd got it in 15min

(three accounts)

right now its pretty easy to get it.

I did a couple of treasure maps in Shadowfen an was just looking around, and right there in a puddle of water there was the lead. It took no time, because i was there anyway. Lucky me!

Go to the bottom most portion of the map and there is an entire lake across the map from west to east then up the side of the map. There are tons of nodes.

I ran along the coast, collecting pure water, water hyacinth and water skin. Got it from a water skin in under 50 tries, i guess I'm lucky.

Right, I am usually pretty lucky with leads, but so far not this one! Spent hours yesterday and and already over an hour today. Nothing. My husband gets on and gets it within a half hour.

This is the 1st lead which I have been farming for MONTHS without success.
Whoever designed this FUN-KILLER should not work in the entertainment industry.

This is an old topic, and today you can get them from all alchemy nodes which is a great step. A few days after my post in June, I ended up committing several evenings to running a loop in the public dungeon. 4 Water nodes every few minutes if you run the squarish path starting at the entrance. It still took forever, but at least I was getting a chance at a node at least once or twice a minute. I'd wait for the patch at this point though as it doesn't seem like we'll need the crit this mythic provides anymore.
