Ah yes... the everlasting grind we fellow MMO'rs endure for items & achievements. Don't we all just love it? I'm not usually a player who yaks about the arduous tasks at hand ..hell I'm a master angler and no stranger to siting and starting for hours on end BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHO's DECISION WAS IT TO PUT THIS PARTICULAR LEAD IN A NODE!!! I WANT NAMES ZOS!

Honestly, I am of the belief they were trying to spread the leads out throughout as many unique things they could in the game so people have a reason to go to X or Y and I think they knew what was going to happen. I just dont think they imagined it was going to end up where it is. I guess I would call it naïve but then it wouldn't be the first time a dev team has underestimated their own players tenacity lol

I saw groups of people sharing the nodes. It was actually really beautiful.

For me, though, I found the most effective way of getting it was parking a toon on top of the most obscure node I could find (it was really obscure, but I'm not sharing; I'm not creating a blood bath!) and logging in to poke at it now and then. No grinding, no heartache.

It's amazing how many people still don't know you can get it from water skins and natural water sources too. So many being ignored.

Oh yeah absolutely I was sharing with a random last night for a few hours before I logged off around 1130 CST. I'm not greedy (auto-loot is off). Before that I had overload on best personality hovering and Mirri right on top of me covering a pure water node which obscured it pretty well.

I got it last night. Maybe I spent an hour and a half to 2 hours in zone total. But I wasn't camping nodes. Just running around the zone looting chests and such. Got it in probably my 40th or so applicable node.

I never checked to see if auto-loot is such a thing. I hate 3/4 of the mob crap that would have ended up in my bags to begin with.

I also got my lead after two evenings for about 1 to 1,5 hours each. Also after something like 40 nodes, I just camped a zone on the shore where two nirnroot and one pure water spawn location was.

That's probably the worst grind on the game. It's stressful and disheartening. Not to mention frustrating. 20hours+ and no lead. And the game keeps me booting from server every hour. (XBOX-NA) @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom There's any update on this lead issue?

I like that they use things for the leads that somewhat fit the item. The problem is not so much where they put the leads or the droprate, its the lack of a worst case scenario. The game doesnt have a worst game scenario where a drop is guaranteed after a worst case number of tries. This leads to some players having endless tries.

There are several things in the game (besides leads) where it would realy help if failures increase the drop chance for the next try until a drop happens and then reset on success.

Camping nodes seems to be ineffective imo. I spent multiple days 5 hours each standing at a single node grabbing it every 3 minutes. Then eventually I said screw it I'm just gunna run around and grab every node I can, took me like an hour. I came across way more nodes then 1 every 3mins.

Well after I cried like a little *** yesterday I hopped on last night (day 3) and completed the kilt...about 2 1/2 hours (Bal Foyen; I swear I killed 1000+ covenant enemies, but thank god they respawn very fast).
