    I've run through AC about 10 times since Undaunted Infiltrator was recently changed to a stamina set and got 2 lightning and an inferno. Before that, in all the prior runs solo and in groups over the last few years I've only seen 2 lightning drops.
    If you are angry about anything in this game you are only punishing yourself.

    I just wanted to update with chest and heavy sack spawn numbers from some solo runs on normal (pledges and continued testing of the outliers of Arx and Selene's).
    - Blackheart Haven: 2 chests, 1 HS
    - Elden Hollow I: 1 chest, 2 HS
    - Arx Corinium: 2 chests, 1 HS
    - Selene's Web: 2 chests, 2 HS
    There still isn't enough data to conclude anything besides that Arx is no longer spawning 4 chests per instance, but I'm now leaning to guess that there has been some change so that in all dungeons, 2 chests and heavy sacks spawn per instance most* of the time, but sometimes fewer and very rarely more. I'm curious if norm vs vet has any impact, as well as whether run in solo vs group, if anyone has any insight on these.

    *What percent of the time? I don't know but am guessing somewhere >75% given what people are reporting and my own experiences.

    Thanks for all that, really does confirm the changes.
    We ran vet AC a few times today, same outcome, 2/2
    1 chest seems to be spawning where I’ve never noticed before, left and just forward of first waterfall jump.

    Multiple runs again today.
    I see snakes in my sleep.
    No drop. Chests seem to stay around 2-3 for my runs. Though sometimes none.

    I chest farm vet Arx a lot. I mean, A LOT.

    Yes, things have changed. Three chest locations through the first boss room (Ganakton) have been removed, one of which was the location right next to Ganakton.

    Also, there is now more of a balance as to where chests will spawn - up to and after Ganakton. Used to be you could find up to four chests without having to kill a boss to progress (Ganakton). Now, the chests are more equally distributed between before and after Ganakton, which means if you farm chests on vet alone you're now much more likely to find no chests from the beginning through Ganakton, which means you'll have to reset at that point or kill Ganakton to farm the other chests.

    Still worth it to farm solo on vet as every chest you find will be Intermediate or better.

    Since I was aware of this change due to someone posting about this after the PC patch, I have been farming Arx tons of times last week to get the medusa inferno staff.

    Almost every dungeon we ran had 4 chests (50+ dungeons) and only a few had 3.

    After the patch, we've ran it a few times as it popped up as the daily random, and there has only been 2 chests.

    There was some rumor about those lower chest numbers being of higher quality, but that has not been my experience.
    I saw mostly simple chests with only 1 intermediate.

    Imo, all dungeons should have 4 chests, not 2. It's already hard enough for people to farm for these staffs, now it's going to take them twice as long. That just seems a horrible change tbh.

    I've ran Arx 100+ times before Blackwood solo and in a group, normal or vet, and almost every time i had 4 chests, as opposed to the 2 chests per run for every other dungeon. After Blackwood, this is no longer the case.

    I agree, to some extend, but for me it was ways bad design of rng. At least since the moment they have introduced sticker book and both: players & devs got more control over the system.

    If you have sticker book, and this is imho wonderful tool - one of the best ideas I have seen in cprg, why do not apply use it and connect to rng?

    Each dung have at least 3 sets. Each set have usually 22 pieces. 7 armour (which you can collect quite easy cause they are dropping even from minibosses or mobs, yeah, mobs), 2 jewelry (which are still relatively easy to obtain, especially due to "named" version many dung have) aaaand there is weapon. 7 melee, bow, 4 staffs and 1 shield. 13 in total.

    And getting the weapon is the most difficult thing, cause usually you can have maybe 2-3 chances for weapon, sometimes even 1 or zero (if main boss or stage boses would drop jewelry) from bosses & chests.

    Then why oh why, do not set as a rule, that until you fill in your sticker book to max, you can recive only a weapon that you do not have in your sticker book? Bah, even put an armour & weapon on the same rng level and apply it only to bosses not chests - in worst scenario, you would have ro run a single dung 22 times to collect a full set (assuming you have at least 3 bosses, every dropping different set). Want better trait without paying TC? You can always run again...

    But please ZOS, stop forcing people to run the same dung hundred+ time and conflicting people chasing the same equipment, just because they want to check how the particular build is working or made build to participate in guild trials or generally have... fun in a game, instead of mindless grinding.

    Because what is the point in getting from the same boss 3 lamia shields in the row (sic!) Or 3 times heavy heads (i had this situation in: AC, MoS and SCP - and none of my chars wear a heave piece!) not mentioning getting almost the same equipment from Cloudrest or run MA 20 times to get a freaking bow!

    And no, trading with others is not a solution, cause in pugs there is no time for that (people instantly quiting) and not everyone have time or possibilities to collect a guild team at particular time or destination.
