Idea for companions

Long story short, this is what I would like to see:
Each chapter would contain 1 or 2 companions, for example: Northern Elsweyr: Khajiiti Necromancer; Vvardenfell: Dark Elf Warden; Summerset: High Elf Sorcerer; Greymoor: Nord something....
This would bring more customizations and choices as to what class/race you would want/like to have as your companion, and it would make them easier to get for new players (since past chapters became dlcs they are easier to buy now). Also, I think companion system maybe shouldn't be Blackwood chapter locked, but more of an addition to a chapter you already own. But whatever the case, I'd still like to see more companions from other chapters/zones.

✭✭✭✭✭Perhaps they are limiting Companions to content going forward to try and eliminate the number of companions players are using (for performance reasons), so unless you buy Blackwood you cannot get a companion. Plus, it's a great selling point- it was primarily the reason I bought Blackwood.
Depending on how successful the companion system is, we will probably see more companions added over time- either to Crown Store or later Chapters or perhaps DLCs. Yet, they have never gone backwards in adding content, so I wouldn't expect them to retroactively add companions to older content.CP: 2128 ** ESO+ ** ~~ ***** Strictly a solo PvE quester *****

Orion_89✭✭✭✭If I got this right at 2:29:29 Rich L. says that there will be a lot more of the companions. But 1-2 companions with each non-dungeon DLC isn't a lot, so maybe some of them will be the already known characters from previous chapters and sell out through the crownstore (as it is for houseguests).
