I'll keep this short and simple.
Currently:
Keeps in Cyrodiil can be used to access guild stores,
but you must be a member of that guild to use that store.
Proposal:
Allow players to access
ANY guild store in their own Alliance,
purchase what they want, but not place items for sale.
Pro's of this update:
- Guilds have a reason to claim keeps; right now they lack legitimate value
- Encourage players to participate in PvP to support their Alliance
- Guilds will have a sense of ownership and pride when defending "their keep"
- The economy will ramp up dramatically and function more effectively
- Guilds will begin working together to sell products to outsiders, rather than competing with each other for profit, ultimately encouraging a sense of unity
Con's of this update:
- Zenimax will need to use resources to create this update
- Guilds may capture a keep to "sell" to another guild in another Alliance, or pay another guild to capture it to switch ownership.
- Players who do not wish to participate in PvP will need to go to Cyrodiil to use public store fronts
- Duplication glitches may have a larger impact on the overall economy
Any thoughts? More stuff to add to the lists? Post your thoughts and ideas.
Respect others' thoughts and ideas as well.
EDITS:
