Got grouped with a blocked player

There is a player whom I have blocked because he has been extremely rude to me before not to mention a little derpy. So I did what many do, I blocked him and hoped not to see him again. However I found myself grouped with him when queuing for Battlegrounds last night. And he was just as charming as the last time a ran into him. Needless to say it was very unpleasant. I am hoping this is a bug or just a oversight, but why does group finder group me with blocked players? Whether they be on my team or the enemy team. If I wish not to contribute to some jack ass of a streamer bye showing up on his stream (Whether I'm on their team or not) why should I be forced into that position.

Not only did we get grouped together but I was able to see his text in the chat box

Thank you for your time and I do hope there can be some fix to this in the future

Forgive me if reviving a 4 year-old post is bad form, but the issue has not been addressed.

I queued for a random on Xbox and was grouped with two players who I have already blocked. They proceeded to be extremely difficult and rude. The only other option I have left is to report them, but even though they play with an elitist attitude that ruined the dungeon for me, I'm not going to report them. I would rather just have no further interaction with them. I couldn't see or hear their communications with the group, but their actions were disruptive to the progress of the dungeon, and I would rather not spend my few hours of game time dealing with players like them.

Please, is there no way to prevent me from queuing up with players I have blocked?
Blessed are those who explore the unbeaten path...
