Gryphon's Ferocity set and master-at-arms not working

I've gotten this set to work a few times on PTS, but most of the time it doesn't work at all. I've tried unequipping the items and zoning, neither seem to make any difference. I'm wearing the weapons and jewelry. Also the master-at-arms and the thaumaturge CP passives don't buff the jabs tooltip. Is the ability not direct damage AND not a damage over time? One of these should be working.

    Does that mean Gryphon set don't work in Jab?

    Channeled melee skills are now considered only direct damage(was really only updated in 2020 to be streamlined), so it should only work with Master at Arms and the AOE CP perk. Thanks for testing this. Hopefuly they fix it before live.

    I thought I saw jabs hitting harder with Biting Aura and Master at Arms, but I’ll check again. It definitely felt like it was doing a lot better damage on PTS with MaA than on live without. Thaumaturge should not (and does not) work on jabs, as said above. Jabs hasn’t been a dot for years.

    ETA:

    On PTS, my data for jabs is as follows:

    No blue CP stars slotted: tooltip of 4834 (closest enemy); non-crit damage on trash mob (beetle in Greenshade): 4325
    Biting Aura only: tooltip of 5237; non-crit damage on trash mob: 4685 (an increase of 8.3% over no active CP stars)
    Master at Arms only: tooltip of 4834 (closest enemy); non-crit damage on trash mob: 4685 (increase of 8.3%, same as Biting Aura)
    Both Biting Aura and Master at Arms: tooltip of 5237; non-crit damage on trash mob: 5226 (increase of 20.8%)

    Conclusion: Master at Arms does not affect tooltips (presumably a bug, since Biting Aura does), but it does affect damage. All things considered, much better than the other way around. It's not just jabs' tooltip that is unchanged: Barbed Trap and Silver Shards are unchanged in tooltip with Master at Arms, but their damage definitely increases when you check the scrolling combat text.

    Further edit: I removed Deadly Strikes and Camo Hunter to get rid of any interference with seeing the true effect of the CP stars. The conclusion is the same, but the stars add less altogether. It's also possible I had Sundered in effect for the last result above.

    No CP stars: tooltip: 4771, damage; 4268
    Biting Aura: tooltip: 5168, damage: 4624 (+8.3%)
    Master at Arms: tooltip: 4771; damage: 4624 (+8.3%)
    Both: tooltip: 5168; damage: 4979 (+16.7%)
