What are items set drop rates in dungeons?

Are they rng or some have way lower %?
I am trying to farm crimson set, and got like 20 chests, legs helms and all the set already and even using the addon to check loots I didn't see a single shield drop (the one I need) in 50 runs, how is that possible?
And just barely got 1 mace as weapon, the other weapons seems not existant.
I know rng can be crazy like with BSW inferno, which instead I got after 3 runs in a chest.
Wanted know if there is a listed drop chance or something.

✭Shields and weapons only drop from the final boss. If you are farming it solo or leaving the run early, you won't see them. I highly suggest speedrunning it on normal in a group and getting the addon called "Group Loot Notifier", by Hoft, to tell if party members obtain the item you need on the final boss, just remember to be respectful when asking for the item you need. A dash of politeness goes a long way. Good luck!3 -

✭Only the final boss, unless they changed how dungeon sets work, will drop shield. It will also drop all weapons and jewelry. You would probably be better off going with feet, legs, waist, chest, gloves for that set and then doing your other set(s) in whatever you are putting with it. That last boss has a lot of possibilities on drops.1 -

✭Some dungeons at least drop weapons and shields from the better chests.
That said the best way to do it is in a guild group with four people who will stop at the end and swap gear with each other to get their sets maxed out. Early on it's not a big deal as most stuff is new, towards the end having four people filling each others gaps makes a huge difference.

Yes. I've gotten 1 Medusa inferno staff and one lightning from chests. 1 inferno from the boss. I definitely wouldn't discount the chests.

When you really want a set, who never find ! it's other player who are not interesting who find this set.
And when you don't want a set, you anytime find piece.
Iremember when i farm, bloodmoon and Ursus, 2 month for a dagger (bloodmoon) and 3 month for Ursus sword2 -
orion_1981usub17_ESO✭✭✭✭✭Make sure you got your treasure chest spotter maxed out from antiquities so you don't miss any chest, they are your best bet for weapons since you can only get one per dungeon from the last boss and your still more likely to get jewelry. Unless you go with friends then you got 4 chances instead of one. But pugs generally split immediately.1

The best way to farm for the rare drops is bribe your group members. Say you'll pay them 100k for it at the end. That will increase your odds substantially (x4). Otherwise it can take weeks or months if you get unlucky.Edited by Jeremy on May 1, 2021 6:32PM0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Since you can improve items, run Dungeons on Normal for farming.
Ask in Guild and Zone chat if anyone wants to farm for the set. Tell them you have all the other pieces so will offer your drops generously.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

✭✭✭✭If everything dropped equally, there would be equal chances between 7 Blacksmithed weapons, 5 Woodworked weapons, and a Shield. So there are 13 possibilities x 3 sets for a single drop, and that's only if it's not jewelry and not, if that boss happens to have one, a named item.
50 tries without a success is no big deal. If you have a 2% chance of getting a piece, for example, then in 50 tries you only have a 63.6% chance of getting it. And I'm guessing that 2% is actually a high estimate.0 -
XxCaLxX✭✭✭✭✭They really need to bring back named weapon/shields and jewelry back to newer dungeons. Base dungeons sometimes makes it alot easier to farm gear because certain bosses can drop a named weapon.0 -

I don't think it is equally divided, cause usually I am drowning in body & jewelry pieces, but with maybe one weapon or two.
