Meticulous Disassembly still broken in 6.3.4 for JC? (other craft not tested)

    anybody know what the decon chances actually are without meticulous disassembly?

    If we dont we'd need pretty massive sample sizes with and without meticulous.. 😳

    is there an addon that logs decon stats? preferably server wide.

    (cheapest might be max cp templates. they get a lot of gear. create cp 3600 char. unpack all gear. decon all gear while recording results. delete char. rinse repeat till sufficient sample size)

    Edit: I guess addon that does stats is not needed if one makes sure craft bag is empty before starting above procedure... we'd only need to know how many of which type got refined.... mass deconstructor probably best bet to quick-hack it for that.... probably want to use it anyway to streamline the process....

    allrighty.... mass deconstructor was a good hunch...managed to quick-hack it

    did a round with one cp 3600 template char. (lost a couple hundred while figuring stuff out and deleted 2nd container of monster masks...way to many subcontainers with not much in each...not time efficient)

    3/3 all professions, NO meticulous disassembly

    blacksmithing: 4736 gold tempers from 6830 deconstructions -> 69.34%
    clothing: 1749 gold tempers from 2468 deconstructions -> 70.86%
    jewelry crafting: 676 gold tempers from 966 deconstructions -> 69.98%
    woodworking: 3073 gold tempers from 4397 deconstructions -> 69.89%

    total: 10234 gold tempers from 14661 deconstructions -> 69.80%

    @tmbrinks is almost 15k deconstructions a decent enough sample size???
    ShutYerTrap (selectively mute NPC dialogues (stuga, companions); displayleads (antiquity leads location); UndauntedPledgeQueuer (small daily undaunted dungeon queuer window)

    did some deconning with meticulous disasembly.

    deleted all jc containers and skipped most light/medium sets. just not time efficient.

    3/3 all professions, WITH mediculous dissassembly (done on 2 chars):

    blacksmithing: 5406 gold tempers from 7139 deconstructions -> 75.72%
    clothing: 574 gold tempers from 776 deconstructions -> 73.97%

    woodworking: 3343 gold tempers from 4409 deconstructions -> 75.82%

    total: 9323 gold tempers from 12324 deconstructions -> 75.65%

    so meticulous disassembly seems to increase average drop rate for gold tempers from 69.8% to 75.6%

    no idea about if 15k and 12k are sufficiently large sample sizes and statistical significance and such things....

    but seems to be doing something for decon too...

    was bothering me that I hadn't done JC with meticulous...

    JC wiht 3/3 and meticulous disassambly:

    708 chromium grains from 966 deconstructions -> 73.29%

    966 is a bit very low as far as sample size goes is my guess.... but ... higher than without meticulous disassembly

    For something with a ~70% chance and a pretty significant difference between the two trials, yeah, that's more than enough.

    Thank you for taking the time to do this. Much appreciated!
