as to why daily login rewards reset when they do - its because they reset at midnight GMT. which makes sense in a way as GMT is the base time zone and all the others are +/- however many hours. (so EST is -4 GMT or 4 hours behind.. which makes it 8pm)

what doesn't make sense to me is why we have so many different reset timers instead of everything resetting at the same time.

I dont see the problem.
You have a 24 hour period to get those rewards.
Whether the reset is at 7 PM or midnight, you still have 24 hours to get those rewards.

I am EST and I usually dont have any problem getting each day's rewards unless for some reason I choose not to play at all that day.

Your life/play schedule isnt ZoS's fault or concern.

They also made the conscious effort to put the better rewards toward the middle of the month so if you choose or cant play a few days, you dont miss out on those. Most of the stuff the end is usually some gold, AP, or tel var in a small enough amount that its not really a big deal if you happen to miss them because you can just get that easily in normal play where those are gained.

I do agree however that I wish every reset timer reset at the same time every day just to make it easier to remember when things reset rather than having to have an addon or some other means to track that.

I think that the struggle here is to not have all of the "once per day" things reset at the same time. Having them at different times spreads out any performance issues that come from the reset.

I also find it a little annoying that the daily rewards reset at 7pm EST, 8pm EDT, rather than some time in the middle of the night while I an asleep. Even though I normally play every day, I don't always play in the 24 hr block of time between daily reward post times. Then, I remember that these are just daily rewards and, aside from one reward that comes 21 days into the month, the rewards are not all that important.
