I'm fed up with logging into the game with a mail box full of gold spam.
Why didn't you make it so no one can send you mail unless they're on your friends list? I mean come on this is common sense.

That's stupid and trust me it's not common sense this is the first time in my many years of playing MMO have a ever heard of a mail system to be done by whose on your on your friend list, so we can see that it's not common sense, this will never work and will again hurt legit players.
What if with so many posters on this forums that wish to hurt legit players in this game? The amount of ideas people have that is just plain stupid is scary.

Every time I get one of those in-game mails I check the rosters of the guilds I'm in. You would be surprised how many are actually sent from inside the guilds (compared to ones from outside) you belong to especially if you belong to a guild that is solely based on being mercantile guild.I'm fed up with logging into the game with a mail box full of gold spam.

Works perfectly well in FFXIV. Just because you've never heard of it or used the feature doesn't mean it does not exist or is a great idea. It does exist and it works fantastic.

Hyperventilate✭✭✭I commonly send small items to people who want them in trade (Some guy wanted to buy plump worms, I just sent him some to get them out of my inventory, for example.) So I'd hate to have to friends request them, just for them to not know who I am, just to deny it so I couldn't give out my small tokens of kindness in hopes they'll pass it on one day.
