Stuck on Loading Screen

This evening I am stuck on the loading screen. No queue, just a spinning wheel with "Requesting Login". After about 5 minutes I get "Connection Timed Out".
Any ideas on how to fix this?

It's the EU login server, a lot of people in the same boat, but discussing it in the RIP PCEU thread

I don't mean to be rude, but will we actually get an update on what is happening? I have been stuck in a 5 second queue for 20+ minutes, and I am feeling frustrated at the frequency which these issues seem to happen for players on the EU server. ZOS didnt upgraded their servers...from time to time EU is a mess
