Can I unlink from Steam?

I have the original base game through ESO but, as I have most games on Steam, ended up buying a discounted steam version plus Greymoor. I then added subscriptions on Steam.
As Steam seem to be unable to renew subscriptions on time do I have any way of reverting back to the ESO game and subscribing directly without restarting everything?

If you purchased ESO Plus from Steam, you will need to either renew your membership through Steam, or wait until it expires and then purchase it again from the ESO website.
