Got booted for spamming but I hadn't even typed one thing in chat.

I had been playing for about 20 minutes in Dashaan. Went to a waypoint for the quest Cultural Exchange. There were crates and other interactables but no NPCs. I was trying to look in the bags/crates but nothing was happening. I began to type /reloadui in the chat window when suddenly several NPCs popped and a loot window for the last item I was attempting to look in showed up. The next thing I know, I was booted from the game and the error window stated that it was because I had exceeded the message limit. The ONLY thing that I typed the whole time I was playing was when I started to type /reloadui and I didn't even have a chance to hit enter before I got booted.

Happened to me in the beta when I spam clicked when I was lagging. Not sure what exactly ever caused the error. But is had been around awhile.

Could be a lag issue... "message limit" could mean the number of times you clicked and your client sends a message to the server... Did you spam click the chests by any chance when they weren't opening ?

(don't mean spam click as a bad thing, but sometimes when something doesn't work people tend to repeatedly click it again :) )
The statement "if you put enough monkeys behind enough typewriters... sooner or later one will produce the works of Shakespeare" has sadly been proven utterly wrong by the internet...

Yes I had probably clicked maybe 4 times before starting to type /reloadui.

    Like an elevator button. Lol.

This always got me booted in the beta with same error when I'd try to loot something.

Happened to me once, & I didn't even say a word. I just re-logged back in game, reported the bug, and moved along.

Same happened to me and I also almost never use the chatbox. I just sent an email to the support team to try and correct the mistake, hopefully they see that lag and server freaking out was the problem for a lot of us tonight.

I have had this in the past. Has nothing to do with chatting. It means you were flooding the server with inputs while it was processing a request. It generally means the server is lagging.
