So you think Bots only farm Dungeon Bosses? Look Here Farming the Entire dungeon

This is not my video game play. But it is a very recent, and very well done video showing bots farming the whole dungeon. Not just the boss, oh they have that covered too, the boss that is.

I suggest you watch it.. Especially all these folks on this forum claiming "What bots, I don't think they are bots"..

The video has commentary. It starts a little slow but picks up fast.

    Well, what can I say.
ZOS needs to invest some time and money into getting some GMs, say 1-2 per zone would do. And it's a full time job, so they need to ba available 24/7.
Botting won't be stopped unless ZOS realizes there is no other way.
Any automatic system, like gear decay, will only hurt real players.

They need more than 1 or 2. They need to station one in every dungeon that can go to all phases of that dungeon and ban away.

That's why some of us said that the change to boss loot drops only hurts legitimate players. It doesn't affect botting at all.

That is absolutely pathetic. Disgusting. What a mockery these bots are making of this great game.

And its not only dungeons; I just ran across a train of bots running a farming loop in the town of Crestshade. Each running along the exact same path in a nice, pathetic conga line ...

Reminds of the ranger bot farming operations after GW2 had just launched ...

Wont be long until every dungeon between 1 and 50 is overrun with bots, if they are not already.
Have yet to see any bot in Veteran areas.

Atleast ZOS remembered to put in the right emote for this kind of stuff.. /facepalm

My most often used emote in this game, at either bugged quests, bosses, bots and so on...

I see bots camping the boss in most dungeons that I visit, which does make the dungeons very anticlimactic. However, this video takes it to a whole new level of despicable behavior. I hope it gets better before it becomes worse.

Im done between broken quests, bots in dungeons, teleporting bots taking harvesting nodes I quit. This is just asinine. What is even funnier is the ZoS expects us the players to police THEIR game. Really? When I log in I want to play the game that I paid money to play not spending time writing reports on peoples names who are dasd gdresa or some crap. Its like going into a nice restraunt and the chick at the front telling you your table is ready but you need to bus it and clean it up first.

I unsubbed and uninstalled. Im sure there will be people saying good riddance, im pretty sure your the same people that said the same thing when people left SWTOR, etc. Enjoy your F2P game.

This game is in a sad state. I am part of guilds that were very excited and enthusiastic about this game. Both have near 400 members and in the last couple of days the numbers have dwindled to 5 of 400. These are all people that guaranteed they would sub, until they saw the myriad of glitches, bugs, bots, and realized how laggy the EU servers are....I want this game to succeed, I really want it to, I was looking forward to this game for too long to have it die, but ZoS needs to kick it into gear now and just hire more staff.....

@laced Are those real numbers? Your guilds have went from 400 to 5? If so that is pretty scary.

Yes, real numbers indeed, I have noticed a HUGE drop off over the last few days. First 2 weeks the chat screen was so full it was ridiculous. Part of 2 trading guilds that have 500 members, they are also PvE guilds, they are under 20 on average atm, when they were near the 300s on average before. And the other 2 guilds are PvE guilds, one is Daggerfall Cov., the other is Dominion. Over the last 3- 5 days we have had a whole 5 - 10 ppl on at most. Its really bad.

Very sorry to hear that. I'm like you and really want this game to prosper. I love the world, the combat, the animations, and so much more. (Though I have a current post up about some issues with the current combat system involving animation skipping - I still love the feel of the combat)

As you can see from a post of mine here a week or so back :

    http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/79421/dear-eso-i-m-a-fan-thanks-for-your-hard-work/p1

I've just never been involved in a game where the bots have practically taken over, not only that - the bots are blatantly hacking right out in the open with no fear.

At first it was public dungeon bosses..but now they are popping up everywhere. In houses and buildings, in quest hubs, and now taking over entire dungeons.

It really makes me sad. This is the only MMORPG I want to play right now, but haven't had the urge to log in for 2 nights now out of disgust.

    Thanks for sharing.

the funny thing is the cheaters are scaring off their customers, who leave in disgust as they have ruined their game experience. true definition of a parasite in my opinion.

but im still playing, no way am i letting some turds ruin my game which i have already prepaid. farming in pve landscape? there are plenty of other zones not ruined yet. dungeons overwhelmed by bots? i get in and do my thing and leave. annoyance factor minimal

but really, time to lay the ban hammer on the BUYERS OF GOLD, LEVELED TOONS

I've never understand why public dungeons or ones you can farm even exist. Why not just make them group dungeons. The devs need to focus their attention on group play more anyways.

We also need more to do than questing. I know there is pvp, but from what I hear it is neigh unplayable for a lot of EU players. I will never understand why there are no social things to od. I mean , we had frog racing at least, and then they took that out! .

But that was slightly off topic.

ZoS please PLEASE do something about the myriad of bots, glitches, bugs etc in this game. I really want this game to make it....

more proof that ZOS didn't think something through. I've been at launch for most MMO's in the last decade, and this is, imo, one of the worst in terms of dealing with bots.

I realize bots are always going to be a problem, but ZOS's attempts to curb it thus far have only really hurt legit players.

First, make the "jab" attack on templars require a target. It's strange that every bot I see uses that one skill exclusively.... how odd ZOS...think that says anything about that skill?

Second, put in measures that hurt massive farming and not players wanting to do a dungeon.

Third, when I look at my maps, those dungeons you see bots farming are labled "solo" dungeons....SOLO....SOLO dungeon. Yet, I'm anything BUT solo in that area... Everyone and their mom is in that dungeon... make it SOLO, as in solo, or, only I can be in an instance of it. I'm already phased out on most story quests (which makes less sense than being in a solo instance of a solo dungeon...), so extend that to solo dungeons...

There are so many instances of ZOS not thinking anything through that it isn't even funny anymore. It's sad that a game with such a great foundation has all these little issues bringing it down so far...
