BOTS BOTS AND MORE BOTS?

I can not believe what I'm seeing here. I love the game,think its the best MMO out there. But low and behold.
TONS OF BOTS: camping in every solo dungeon in Daggerfall Covenant, beside the spawn point where each boss appears. Its very annoying, and in my opinion ruining the fun and excitement. Players can not get credit or achievement for going through the solo dungeons anymore, nor can we even get credit and loot from killing the bosses only because there are 14 BOTS surrounding the boss and spawn point.
Plus i notice where there are heavy areas of mobs to kill, there are also a heavy presence of BOTS, running in wolf packs, in a pattern style killing everything. I have sent in numerous tickets to try and cut the bot flow down but notice nothing is done nor no reply either.

Despite what you can read on the forums here I don't think zos is stupid and don't realize that if they don't fix it that thier game isn't going to last. Be patient and I willing to bet you'll see fixes come down weekly that will lessen the bots. It just can't be done in a day. Or even in a week. LOL - So many threads about this already. I am not having any trouble finishing any of these public dungeons, if anything the bots are making it easier for me since I hit the boss once or twice and I'm done, easier than killing a mob - and I still get loot just fine.
- but I agree the bots are taking a huge toll - just hanging out in pub-dungeons is one thing, but being out everywhere speed hacking / teleporting to harvest nodes, patrolling heavily hostile towns effectively making them non-hostile... it is effecting the mood of the game and especially the market.Edited by GambitJ79b14_ESO on April 24, 2014 8:31PM0 -

The time to get a handle on the bot situation...is anticipating it before release. It's not like bots are a new problem, they've been around as long as MMOs have existed. Now ZOS is playing catch-up and it's going to cost them.

Reenlister✭✭✭I hate bots. They are a plague on the community and serve as a gateway to more problems like crashing the economy. The only thing as bad as the bots are the people supporting them by buying their way up. You wanna play cash shop games go over to a F2P. Leave the real players here to do what we do.
Only good thing I can say about bots is when they get caught they don't post asinine forum comments about leaving and how everything sucks and it could never be on their end.

Fenbrae✭✭✭I am going to reply with the same message i post in every whiny thread about bots.
ZOS is working on the bot problem (they are banning them by the thousands) but botters tend to have multiple accounts. They can do that since only the account is banned, not the IP.
It isn't impossible to get credit for the dungeon by having a single AoE ability on your hotbar. It's how i do it, it works, it's how everyone should do it.
The best thing people can do is report every bot they see, because it does help unlike what the lazy forum naggers say.Currently playing:

And the way to fix this is to continue posting the same ranting rage over and over? They are aware of the issue and are doing everything they can to resolve it as soon as possible. People who don't understand that and are flooding the forums are part of the reason that people with legitimate issues are having trouble getting support.0 -
