My idea against bots

woutervanjellob16_ESO
My idea: You should only get exp. once from the same spawn. Monster xp should be low and is pretty low in ESO, except for the first time you kill a (mini) boss.

I like my idea cos it will trigger players to quest for exp (as they all should, cos ES owns with every quest like always). You'll only get exp from the killed mob once. Why would a normal player want to kill the same mob from the same spawn point over and over again? Sometimes you have to kill the same mob twice if you're running back in a public dungeon but does that mather? It's just a little exp.

I also like the noobs who yell at the developer saying they're amateurs. Every MMO had and has bots. There will always be bots. Shooters even have aim bots and more. How would you suggest to get rid of every single bot in a game so soon? The game isn't even out for a month. Other games had bots for years. Guys you should try and get a job at the company you seem to hate. You don't know the job. You can't say anything. Complain at your own job like other people do about yours.

Do you even understand the point of a bot for the gold sellers? Obviously not.

The bot is there to gather money. Who the hell cares about experience.

It's also quite obvious you have never played an MMO before with this comment:

Yeah, bots aren't camping bosses for experience. The experience from bosses is pretty bad anyways. It would take probably 3000 boss kills to gain a level or something ridiculous.

It's all about vendoring the soul shards, and destructing the blues and putting the occasional rare mat into a guild bank.

    I've played MMO's for 12 years now.

Ok. One money/item drop for each mob?

That would work if you made sure they got the drop every time on the first time.

So.. Lemme get this straight. You're suggesting that every mob in the world, should be one kill, one loot, right?

    Just want to clarify that.
You've mistaken me for someone who cares.

Even if a boss only drops loot once per character, you will still have the same problem because they will simply create more bot characters.

The smartest idea i have seen someone made about this problem is by making the public dungeons phased. The dungeon itself is publically avaiable, but the boss is located in a special phased room. This way, everyone has their own personal boss to fight with. They could add to it by making the bosses a one-time encounter, but making the loot it drops slightly better. It could be one of those challenging mini-boss battles like the Doshia battle from the Fighters Guild.

Highly (I mean 99.999999%) doubtful you have played even 1 other MMO. Your comment about never killing a mob more than once pretty much guarantees that. I won;t even go into the fact that you had no idea what the bots are even there for.

You had a dumb idea, suck it up and move on.
