Getting a parse dummy and a couple other questions

I'm either blind or something else, but for the life of me I can't find one of these beasties...how are you supposed to get one of these? Also, as I'm not really into the house sim thing, I only have the room in the Rosy Lion Inn..is that big enough for practice? Thanks for any assistance.

✭✭✭Target dummy recipes are bought for vouchers from the Master Writ vendor, or can be found on Guild stores. There is also a special item to make them you need to buy. The Sentinel Contruct uses items that drop from the final boss of the Halls of Fabrication trial, but you can buy these in Guild stores. Once you learn the plan and have the items, you craft them at the enchanter station.
Additionally, you can gather up parts for a special Clockwork CIty one, gather 50 fragments from the Western Skyrim Public Dungeon to combine into one, get one from a ZOS giveaway event, or buy one from the crown store inside the housing decoration menu, or as part of a bundle from the regular crown store.
The inn room is fine for melee practice, though it may feel cramped. Put the dummy in the corner to give your camera room.Main: Drio Azul ~ DC, Redguard, Healer/Magicka Templar ~ NA-PC

If you don't you can search guild vendors (TTC) for target skeleton, humanoid: https://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Target+Skeleton,+Humanoid (same can be obtained through writ vouchers from roris hlaalu as plan, but you need high crafting skills) - useful for training rotation.
Or there is trial target dummies purchasable with crowns from housing menus.
As for room, if i have to pick room now probably will get that one at Alik'r Desert (first 2 most likely will fit in smaller room, but it's good to have some place):

✭✭If you're in guilds, somebody or other will have a dummy at their home even if there's not a dedicated guild hall.PC NA0 -
noneatza✭✭✭Yeah if you're new to the game or to parsing just ask in your guilds, there's a very high chance multiple people have dummies in their homes already0

✭Thank you....I bought one yesterday! Question is....after placing it in my home, how do you activate it? I can't target it or anything...just stand there and attacks pass right through it. It's the skeleton....I have a nasty feeling that it might not "work" in Rosy Lion Inn

Make sure it's not clipping through the floor and has a green outline when you place it. Rosy Lion has enough space for the skeleton.0 -
Xuhora✭✭✭✭✭you need to make sure that the skeleton has a green frame arround it when you place it, not a yellow one. every interactable furniture has to be placed "right" in order to be functional2 -

If you do the main quest in Elsweyr you get an pretty large house for free. It can be upgraded in southern Elsweyr to get some nice outdoor areas too.Hrmm....I thought I did that but I'll try it again...I'll put it in the center of the room when I do it thanks all...hope I'm not out 80K gold or have to buy a different house

ghost_bg_ESO✭✭✭✭btw, this dummies don't have boosts like trial dummies(crowns), so 15k - 20k dps is ok-ish, 25k - 35k dps is good in general (or was last patch).0
