Feels like the Staving Death (purple multi CP node thing) should be under the red tree

I'm no expert but it feels like if the Staving Death purple node was under the red tree instead of the blue it would A. fit better and B. give a better distribution of points...allowing to cap damage/stats and defenses easier/more efficiently.

the reason its there is to force some decision on offense vs defense, til about 1800 cp anyway

Think about it from a tank perspective. No, historically blue CP tree hasn't been damage reduction, but as a result tanks have historically done whack stuff with the blue tree as they didn't really have much personal use for it.
Now they do, which is good. ish.

Or simply put any stat star in the red tree, as that is of course the definition of fitness. Stamina is physical fitness, magic is magical fitness. Why on earth it's in the blue tree is beyond me.

Also, the way they've done it is to ensure endless grinding is part of the game, not like it was endless before it's just even more compounded now.

Yeah, but it is still pretty awkward to have one tree dedicated more or less completely to defense, and another tree split between dps/healing and defense.

Very strange design, even if there is a certain logic behind it.

you would still have the active skills for tanking below it, so still plenty to put into even for a tank...and maybe i'm wrong but it still seems that moved to the red tree would make it easier for people closer to the previous cap.

yeah, but its reallly not that big a difference because you would still have to give up some defense from the red tree but at least from my initial thoughts it would allow people closer to the previous cap more balance to those with higher cp giving them more of the basic defensive skills and basic offensive skills...and it would seem to still allow for expansion for those with higher cp...but again, maybe i'm looking at it wrong.

Yeah, but realistically what passives would we put into? There's one healing passive... then everything else isn't too handy. red CP has lots of options for everyone.

yeah, not sure, even on my tank it feels like I can use some room in blue and could do with less in red...but I do agree for a tank it could use some added passive nodes in blue that would benefit a tank

the blue tree forces you to focus your build a bit between tank, dd, and healer. thats how i think it's meant anyway..

yeah, i get that, its just that purple node is still needed regardless of what role you fill and with it being in the blue tree...well, the blue tree requires more points than the other two trees in order to be balanced, I just felt from moving points around, that purple node would still fit in with the red section and make it easier for people to distribute their points. I mean as it is, you are probably fine in the red tree with 1000cp and well, the green tree you probably don't even need but again don't need that much cp...the blue tree though you are still improving your character probably upto 1800 cp...the trees are are just out of whack with each other...now if we just had points we could spend however we wanted, well then it would be completely different

No it should not. Tanks need that, otherwise there is no blue slottable for tank.

thats not a slottable and everything below it IS a slottable for tanks, they would probably have to replace it for a single passive unlock (like blessing is) with something like armor...and i'm not suggesting that tanks don't need that, pretty much any role need it...it would just be easier for everyone to spec for it if it were in the red tree (including tanks)
