That is not the subject. It is just a way of saying that I am a veteran of the game and that I have the game knowledge necessary to say that proc sets are fine and needed for balance..
New players crying against proc will die just as fast to optimized builds.. but this optimised builds will not be 10+ as before but an all powerfull magsorc and maybe stamblade..
This makes the game much less fun for veterans. And new players will also realize that they will still die just as often unless in a ball group.

So you are one of the most (selfproclaimed) skilled pvpers but you play 1 out of your 11 chars in pvp.
Also "veteran" does not mean skilled or knowledgeable. It just means that you have been here long time
90% of content? All of PvP takes like 10%. And was the ability to PvP removed from the game? Or you just enjoyed broken content with no skill required, and now cry, that you cannot cheese anymore? Seems like L2p issue
I am a PVPer on 6 classes and 12 specs, and a top 0.1% PVPer at that so I might know what I am talking about. I like theorycrafting and I only play optimized builds on any class. Removing build diversity just makes the game extremly dull.
"After a hard week of farming, or a long night of being nagged by your wife, there is nothing better than going out for a bit of a fish."
@WolfyRaps DId you play pre 1 t pvp? Pre IC? Just wondering, because most vetern PvPers look to that as when PvP was most enjoyable..and this current change will bring things closer to those golden days....
İ think he/she means %90 of sets available. And he/she is right. Zos will understand this too when nobody (i mean pvp ers) needs to buy dlcs or other stuff when u dont need more then training gear and agility..90% of content? All of PvP takes like 10%. And was the ability to PvP removed from the game? Or you just enjoyed broken content with no skill required, and now cry, that you cannot cheese anymore? Seems like L2p issue
I understand, but its not like all of those 90% were used before proc sets removal. Like "oh no, I cannot use my Green Pact set anymore! And what about my Skooma Smuggler set!" People cry that they cannot use couple of broken sets now, like it prevents any kind of PvP whatsoever. Just adapt, they will be returned back eventually, and if people will learn to actually use skill instead of using broken proc crutches, it will be great.
I am one of the most skilled players you will find in PVP. I know the games ins and outs and I play 12 different builds in PVP !
Some classes are better with proc sets then others. They need proc sets in order to compete. The game has been balanced this way. A magsorc without proc sets is still overpowered, a Magblade or a Warden is weak...
It actually hurts the balance instead of improving it in adition to completly eliminating build diversity !

I don’t get this argument.
If a MagSorc is overpowered without proc sets, would enabling proc sets not make him even stronger? And if a MagBlade is weak without proc sets, but strong with proc sets, it would overall still be weaker than the MagSorc... it’s not like MagSorcs are not using OP proc sets to make them even more OP. So disabling proc sets eventually changes nothing in the hierarchy of OP builds / classes.

Wrong. As a default you would not use proc on a magsorc. Magden or Magblade needs proc sets to colse the gap on Magsorc. Thats why I say that procsets are actually good for balance.

If you can improve MagBlade or MagDen with proc sets so much that they become competitive in defeating MagSorcs, why wouldn’t a MagSorc wear the exact same sets to achieve the same outcome? Please don’t tell me that Sorcs don’t benefit by proc sets as much as every other class. Proc sets might fill the gaps in skills other classes lack, but a strong proc set for Nightblades and Wardens is a strong proc set for Sorcerers as well.

Depends. A magden on 4 procs can still be super tanky due to HP based heals. Sorc will be really squishy since shields will be small with a small magicka Pool.

Because all the other are on golden "proc" gear and would be much weaker than a magsorc in one of the 19 sets anyway.. So build diversity out the window..

Sure and have magsorcs rule all as they do not need any proc sets. Proc sets provided balance as they offered a fighting chance to all classes. At similar top skill level a no proc warden gets eaten alive by a magsorc, as does any other class.
The game was balance around proc sets, and I can atest to that because I play all 12 available class/ spec combinations.

I play procs too because stats are not reliable (before the proc tests). But im not delusional to think that procs require more "skill" than procs... Procs do 75% of the work. all the work you need to do is... farming them...
And what build diversity? Unless you are a potato and clueless using some random meme stuff, then during proc meta people used way way less than 19 proc sets for combinations as barely 10-12 sets are/were viable for proc builds

You cannot use Icy or Veteshran on sorc but you can on all close range mag classes. Thats a great equilizer right there.
Me on my 12 chars I had about 30 Cyro viable builds. By comparaison now I have 1 (crafty/spinners sorc)..

LMAO this last comment isn't really helping with your self proclaimed topm .1% of all pvpers title.....sounds like you have been carried by sets and are lost now that you need to use a bit of skill tbh....

I just played a lot during quarantine. Leveled 12 chars, got about every set worth getting for PVP and now i cannot use them in Cyro because of this mindless restriction. So until is reverted Cyro is dead for me.. And so is for all other knowledgable players that are not fans of one build pony magsorc..
