Everything else about CP 2.0, questionable Cyrodiil changes, the parade of nerfs coming out way, etc. aside...

I am kinda happy to have all my characters' skill points reset! I've been meaning to respec all of them and put points into each crafts' hireling mails, but have been too lazy to do it (for 18 characters) for like 3 months. Now is my chance! It's gonna be the first thing I do on each character. :P

Also, I think I'm gonna try playing the game with 0 CP across the board for a little while. Get recalibrated for what it's like for "new" players again, difficulty-wise. Might be fun. Now that base stats aren't heavily tied to spending that first 300CP anymore, it doesn't feel like I'm shooting myself in the foot so much!

Also also, I'm super ready for the update to drop, just so the forum can move the *** on from complaining about the same 3 things in 53 different threads! I miss the days where we had 53 different complaints going in like a dozen threads, plus a slew of other threads talking about more interesting stuff! Hopefully we'll get back to "normal" soonish. The forums have felt pretty stale lately, imo.

For those worried about damage, don't be. Skinny did his parses on a Stamplar did 55-60k no CP and like 112k with CP on live, and 80k no CP and 106k with CP on PTS. So barring major changes with this actual download you will un less you were at cap and a 1%er already either be doing more damage or right around the same. Been testing many builds and all the classes myself and overall (I am definately not anywhere near as good as Skinny) sitting very close to where I am on live.

well, I took the precaution of farming/buying up a lot of mats the last few weeks in preparation for the inevitable gear changing merry-go-round (as I'm sure everyone did !) so it's curiosity and excitement rather than fear and dread ! :)

Plus I'm looking forward to converting my reasonably high CP into the new system !

    Bring it on !

Neither scared nor hyped, just curious and hopeful I guess.

Being able to run sustain food without stat worries will probably be a major help at least. Feels like I've struggled to make it through a fight without running dry ever since, like, Morrowind.

    Are you hyped or scared?

A bit of both... The things that worry me the most are that 1) changes in the effects of armor weight may necessitate regearing and 2) my crafting/gathering/antiquities main may have to swap slottables a lot for best results.

I have to agree. WAY too many slotables and not enough passives in the Crafting constellation. It's going to be a pain swapping out the slotables but thank god for the inevitable add-ons that might help with this.

@CyberOnEso is the author of Jack of All Trades, which looks awesome for solving this problem! They have it linked in their forum signature (and they've said it's coming to ESOUI/Minion after the update goes Live).

Definitely gonna be a must-have until (or if) ZOS ever pulls their head out and realizes how bad the green tree feels. RIP console users, though :(

I don't mind the combat changes, but I'm not convinced the stuff in the green tree will be fun to change it every time when crafting, harvesting, open boxes etc.

    Are you hyped or scared?

not that it's important or even that I'm particularly well informed, but I'm hyped...ish. I'm never particularly excited about anything in MMO's, positively or negatively. In fact, quite frankly, I find it hard to get excited about almost anything anymore - so many disappointments - movies, tv series, video games - so many letdowns, getting excited just seems like a waste of time.
But...I've been waiting a long time for ESO to stop forcing the max magica/stamina-tied-to-overall-damage thing, and I was never a huge fan of the CP system, so seeing ANY change seems perfectly fine by me (and even a little bit fun just to tool around with)
so, overall, I'm "excited", using finger quotes for the emphasis that I'm not actually "excited" so much as...positively inclined to a very modest degree

wanna see me get *really* excited? - announce the end to animation cancelling, and I'm dancing a jig!!

I do hope that because of this addon, next - next patch, 90% of green CP passive will be not-slotable (working always in the background). First ZOS got feedback on PTS. They did not adjusted it, so people bypassed this restriction with an addon lol :joy:

Sigh.. get rid of the add-on to work around the silly way rapids worked that they fixed and now need an addon to work around the silly way they made crafting not work.

Still experimenting but I don't think I'll be doing much tanking this release as they've not addressed the heavy armour/speed problem. Crating changes look nice although I'll need to get more CP for the sideline of relieving telvanni of their pocket contents.

Yeah, Green tree will suck on consoles with swapping stars all the time. With PC ability to bypass this stupidity using addons, this seems like some sort of punishment for console players. There is absolutely no rational reason for this crap :/

ZOS added a 15 second cool down an swapping CP Stars on Live that was not on PTS. So it's gonna suck for everyone due to the 15 second cool down the PC add-on does not work as intend.
