Curious whether I will like the new system or not. I tank on my dk, and I'm worried about taking extra damage from magic in heavy armor. But looking forward to other things about the system that are too broad to get into.

A bit of both... The things that worry me the most are that 1) changes in the effects of armor weight may necessitate regearing and 2) my crafting/gathering/antiquities main may have to swap slottables a lot for best results.

Not sure how I feel about it yet. The system has potential and I am sure I will enjoy it in the future but I fear with my 630CP my Bosmer magblade is going to take a hit. I know I'll be fine but it's change and change is scary.

Boo! The server is down earlier than usual for the patch. Now I can't get today's tickets And I even left a pair of dailies ready to turn in quickly, too.

I'm pissed mostly. I don't want to grind random normals for 100 hours to get the skills and passives that I already have now, just to end up confirming that I'm doing 20% less DPS anyway.

I could already test stuff on the PTS.

The system's nice, and the DPS hit is not so bad (the extra hp makes up for it, IMO). I look at -5 / -10 % loss of DPS on cp 900.
I don't know how people get the -20% figure, but it's highly overestimated.

It was 5:30pm when i turned it on. Since it's a big patch, it probably won't be back online/updated til after I go to bed. Then I don't get home from work til an hour after the daily reset time. So, no Monday tickets for me.

I'm pretty curious to see how it turns out. I've played since the closed beta and most of the major changes have been quite enjoyable. If the new CP system nerfs healers a lot I'd like Earthgore to change back to what it used to be though. I loved that monster set

I suppose they have separates systems/servers for login, patching and playing.

I'm not sure what you mean about 5:30pm. There's a universal daily reset time. If the server comes up as planned at 10am Eastern US/3pm UTC, and you've left your launcher open so it automatically downloads and installs the update when available, you have 15 hours from then to log in for your quick turn-in and get Monday's tickets (6am UTC reset). I usually plan 10-15 minutes before work to log in and hit the turn-in on maintenance days. The issue is if maintenance is extended, and major updates are susceptible to that, then that time frame can easily be eaten up.

Yes, but they usually don't get posted until shortly before maintenance is over. The PTS section has the notes for 6.3.0-6.3.4 so you can see most of the changes. There are likely to be some things changed going into 6.3.5 (live release), especially since they had two weeks from the last PTS incremental.

It's not just quitters, you need to keep a separate list of those cancelling their subscriptions for the umpteenth time in a little while.
