Bonuses to crowd control immunity

More than 1/4 of slottable stars in the fitness tree (5 out of 19) is about various bonuses when being under crowd control immunity. I wonder for whom are these stars useful? For tanks? For PvP players? I do not do PvP at all so I am curious...

Well, they clearly seem to be oriented around PvP, although I suppose there's a few mobs that do apply CC in overland content; maybe someone will come up with a rotation for trials that involves being CCed to gain a burst of resources, damage and durability, I wouldn't be surprised :D . It honestly seems to me as compensation buffs for Heavy armor getting shafted so heavily; ironically, these changes, including the 1% damage reduction while CCed per piece of Heavy, the Juggernaut CP star, and others, seem to have had the opposite effect from what PvP players wanted- Heavy armor was nerfed for PvE in its mobility, sustain, and magic damage taken, but buffed for PvP where physical damage and CC is far more common. Can't wait for some of the more vocal players to realize that rebalancing Heavy armor around PvP has consequences.

Really I am just waiting for ESO to stand for Elder Scrolls Offline so no more balancing needed.

You can give yourself crowd control immunity on demand through the use of the heavy armor skill Unstoppable and its morphs. However this also reduces your movement speed, but that's not much of a concern for a tank and only lasts 6seconds.
This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

I’d suggest loss of movement speed is a big concern for tanks.

Thank you for your answers, guys. Hopefully the bonuses to crowd control immunity will be useful for someone, because it would be silly to have more than 1/4 of slottable stars in the fitness tree useless...

I am a solo PVE player and personally have a problem to find 4 really useful slottable stars in the fitness tree. On the other hand there are much more than 4 stars I would like to slot in the warfare tree.

If you're into soloing things like vet dungeons & arenas, you'll run into more CCs than you think!

In vMA, for instance, there's like... I wanna say one or two mobs/mechanics in every round that can CC you. Granted, you're better off avoiding those CCs altogether, but a few bonuses that help ease the punishment for your mistakes aren't so terrible. I like that these stars exist to help players who struggle with such things, even if I personally won't get much mileage out of them. If I weren't such a sucker for stats, I'd really enjoy some of these perks! :P

The fact that they have to compete with things like more Armor or boosted Regeneration, though... I don't know. Feels like they invented a bunch of cool stars I'll seldom/never use. I wish less things needed to be slotted. :/

Speed buffs little solved it. Dont get me wrong, 14% resist worth it.

Fighting Finesse, Deadly Aim, Thaumaturge, Biting Aura for warfare.
Boundless Vitality, Rejuvenation, Ironclad for Fitness, I guess. As magica I would take Siphoning Spells in the last slot, idk for stamina ones.
Let's be extremely precise in our use of terms.

Bloody Renewal could work well as a fourth red slottable for a solo stam PvEer. (That’s the stam equivalent of Siphoning Spells.) You do need the killing blow for it, but for a solo player it should not be too much of a problem getting those. If you’re soloing WBs or something where you don’t get a lot of repeated kills to make the most of Bloody Renewal, Strategic Reserve could be useful (30 health regen per 10 ultimate stored, up to 1500). There’s also Slippery, which gives a free Break Free once per 21 seconds. Those are the top three most useful ones for that fourth slot, I think, depending on play style and typical targets.

Ive not looked into it but with the number of buffs its worth considering CC imunity skills as part of your rotation to get the buffs.

Does seem like a strange thing to do though, CC immunity itself is strange, never mind adding situational buffs on top of it.

Also for PVP its only useful for CP cyro. Not BGs or non CP cyro, so for the majority of the PVP playerbase its still pretty useless.
    EU: Magden, Magknight, Stamsorc(*2), Magsorc
    NA: Magplar, Magden, PotatoBlade

Ironclad is in Warfare, not Fitness constelation.
