Phasing is answer to Dungeon Boss problems

It is really simple.

You kill a boss in a dungeon and the boss is phased out for some appropriate amount of time. Until that time passes, you cannot see or kill the boss again.

Once that time passes the boss will be in phase again for a kill. Then it will de-phase again for whatever the timer says.

This way everyone who is doing the dungeon has an opportunity to kill the boss with a chance to loot the boss and get whatever XP they are worth.

As it stands now, no matter what the timer is set at the bots can just sit there and wait it out and kill, kill, kill even when they are not getting loot. This hurts everyone.

All I can figure is, there's SOME REASON that it's not efficient to trigger a phasing change when you kill a boss. This would seem to me to be the most obvious solution- you kill the boss, you've finished the dungeon, you go to a different instance. But there's got to be SOME reason they haven't implemented this fix. *shrug* It's definitely been tossed around once or twice.

    Hail Eris, Fnord, etc.
What do you gain by criticizing a CSR complaint?

I figure that it's probably the most work to implement on a dungeon by dungeon basis, but given the work they're having to go through now, it seems like it would be a better than what they've tried so far.

The best fix is to phase the entire dungeon to you or your party.
So tired of these public caves with tons of people running around removing all sence of adventure/exploring/danger.

I'm not really certain that revamping the entire dungeon to phasing is necessary. Eventually, as the average level of the population increases, many of those dungeons will be ghost towns anyways. The bots will camp the boss forever unless something changes.

Phase the entire dungeon for one player or group.
    Problem's gone, everyone's happy.

Incidentally, I just did a dungeon and there were no bots in the end room. It was disconcerting cause I wasn't sure where the boss was going to be. I did find him but I thought I was in the wrong room because there were no bots. :)
