Any update on how this performs on Series X/PS5?

Most other games already have the upgraded versions. I have two PS5's that my wife and I are ready to play eso on. We are currently not playing or subbed till this gets resolved (hell even just some info on a timeframe!). Even the broken joke of a game that destiny 2 is, has already upgraded and looks awesome!

You got TWO PS5s? Did you also buy a lottery ticket with that luck?

Let me repeat - ZERO improvement.

I know some games definitely need a 'next gen' patch to make them perform better and some games can just ride brute force updates to run better.

But ESO on my Xbox One X and Xbox Series X today ran basically the same. No improvement at all, even on the 'load times' which heavily depend on your network speed and being in Australia, it's always been bad anyway.

I KNOW this game has a 'next gen patch' on the way, but for it not to be here at the next gen launch, what else can I say except...

... my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

I'll go back to just doing the dailies and not bother with this game until the patch drops. There's so many other games on the Series X that run at 60fps or better day one, it literally makes my eyes bleed to look at ESO in this state on a next gen console.

I was also a bit surprised when I moved the game to an external SSD on my old xbox, I saw almost no improvement... Sure some faster load screens (when not extremely long loads which still happen), but still texture pop delays, etc.

Seems like the server lag is the bottle neck to performance for many things.

Picked up my series x a few days ago and thought id add to this.

First couple of days, ESO ran the best it had ever been. Minimal load screens, framerate was smooth as! Felt like i was playing on PC with how it looked and how responsive all of my commands were. Even in cyrodil at US primetime on a stam character there was minimal lag or framerate drop.

A couple of days later however, its worse than on my original xbox one.
Framerate is somehow worse and slower than what it was when i first picked up the series x. No settings or anything have been changed at all and my internet connection is stable and consistent.

I have no idea how to explain why the sudden framerate drop and deterioration and where it came from. Has anyone else with a series x experienced this?

ESO on my Series X runs very well, there are no FPS drops or lags as of now. Loading times are way faster and most times I can't even reading the fluff text in the loading screen as it loads waaaaaaaay faster than on my One X.

Haven't played any PvP yet, but will go into battlegrounds and Cyrodiil this weekend. I'm curious to see how ESO on my XSX performs there.

The usual delays are still there, but that's an ESO engine / server issue and nothing better hardware can fix.

I'm a bit disappointed by the graphical quality. I'm sure it could be way better and I really hope the next gen versions (if they come out later this year) will drastically improve this.
