There is room for a lot more ESO content creators and the community will call out any BS or toxicity so I wouldn't worry too much. Its good that these big changes are interesting and will hopefully attract others to play and stream the game.
If we're being blunt, Deltia's main claim to fame was being there as early as he was. He had some... "ideas," about builds in ESO that are downright laughable now. To pull two things out of context, he repeatedly argued for a 0/49/0 attribute spec, "because you get more points in health than you do in stamina or magicka, and you can get those stats with enchantments." (We only got 49 attribute points back at launch. It wasn't bumped to 64 until after the level cap hit Vet 16.) Second, he also maintained that Dragon Knights were the only good class in the game, and would demonstrate this by trying to play other classes like DKs, rather than actually playing them, you know, like they were intended to be used.
I'm not sure when he switched to Templars as "the only class worth playing," but when Morrowind reworked sustain, he threw a fit, put up a video conducting a funeral for his Templar and left the game.
At this point, with the entrenched content creators we have now, I'm dubious that he'd be able to carve out a niche today.
Actually in the very early days it WAS better to do health than stamina or magicka because of the soft cap and you can get soft cap in stamina or magicka with gear and glyphs. IF you played then then you'd know this was very popular.
Why do people watch him or Alcast ?
I do not really understand it.
Why not just play yourself ?
It is not even funny - or is it ?
went from being fun, funny did not take stuff so seriously then went to being angry and bitter.
He won't like the performance and leave.

i was shocked when i cam back after SUMMERSET frankly... Literally bought a new controller because WTF!?!?! The I realized I had been hearing the audio cues for skills, but they didn't actually fire.. and of course the controller while nice made no difference.
So yeah, skills not firing, barswaps not happening.. nothing reliable in combat now

Apparently the answer there is to upgrade to the next gen consoles.

I'm not laughing either. it's a crappy situation for you, and you've got my sympathies there.QuebraRegra wrote: »Of course blame the client? Not sure if serious or joking?
Neither, really. I'm blaming the hardware.
I'm not suggesting you get a next-gen console, just that the people I know who have migrated to the PS5 have been very happy with the performance increase.QuebraRegra wrote: »So, what of all the other players expereincing the same issues across ALL platforms?
PS4 and XB1 are both in a very bad state. PC depends heavily on your system specs. It's not a panacea, obviously, and server connection is an issue. But, yeah, the hardware struggles to keep up with the game. On PC it's a little different, but that has to do with how wide the range of PC hardware gets.QuebraRegra wrote: »Are you aware of the client/server relationship?
Yep. It's a factor as well.

I liked watching Delia's videos but honestly I feel like his life is better now without ESO and it would be selfish of me to ask him to come back. The game as it is now isn't worth the trouble.
QuebraRegra wrote: »Look I appreciate the feedback, but you can't be seriously telling me the client hardware I've played on for years is suddenly the problem? Particularly when ZOS has moved more and more checks to the server side?
yeah if they moved most of the checks back to client side, and went with UDp instead of TCP we'd all see a huge performance increase... yeah then it might certainly be time to upgrade my hardware.

lol streamer worshiping is strong with this thread.
BalticBlues wrote: »Deltia was THE MAN who taught us early players how to play ESO in his streams.
At that time we knew pretty much nothing about crits, combos etc.
Deltia explained everything nicely and many people owe him.
One reason Deltia left was because ZOS did not fine-balance the game.
Instead ZOS changed mechs with a sledgehammer every few months.
Probably not much has changed since then...
Since then, instead of more skillful play we got even stronger proc sets and Malacath.
Soon we even will get a CRAZY 3600 CP vertical procession on top of it.
Who wants a PvP game which AUTO KILLS people with sets, procs and CP?
I miss the good old times when CP and Procs were LOW and PVP WAS MASSIVE.
Nowadays everything is the opposite - Procs and CP are HUGE but PVP IS SMALL SCALE.
Do not know him.
But only twitcher i like to watch was KevDoIt - he was really funny.
Se no point watch another type of content - i better play myself.

Eyy another Kevduit fan. He doesnt get mentioned much cause he focused more on comedy but he nailed it so well so often. Too bad he dropped the game for Fallout and CyberPunk.
Not sure why there is so much salt being thrown around about Deltia here.
If you didn't follow him before and didn't play with him before, there is little point to making an argument that you know what he is (or isn't) worth to the game now, let alone to the community he helped build here.
I am glad to see any player with his level of skill return to the game and contribute content that is accessible and viable for players of all types, something the BIS only build creators seem to have long since forgotten how to do.
