Hirelings (official response would be nice)

What exactly is the format for hirelings. I have 2 characters, 6 hirelings in total and they seem to do whatever they want. I've had days when they don't deliver anything. Other times they seem to deliver at any time they choose (anything from 24-36 hours)
Are the hirelings buggy, or is there some kind of scheduling to how they act???

check if servers were on maintenance .... if so hirelings timing could be changed.

I know you have to login to the characters that have the hireling passive for them to send the mail. I get them immediately once I log into them if I haven't logged into him in a couple days granted it is only for one day and not the days I missed.

Or they are simply lazy little buggers. Seriously thought, there seems to be no set pattern. My money is on them being glitch, but would be nice to get a confirmation.

Have you read the mails they send you? I wouldn't be surprised if they were lying down helpless in some ditch because they mistakenly tied their own shoestrings together

They seem to be on a timer of when you get the last one out of the mail. 24 hours later you will get more.

If you are gone for a few days, they will not keep busy. They will not deliver more until you clear the first bags.
