Here’s something you may be interested in, the CP skill “Survival Instincts” Can reduce your core combat skill costs by up to 25% while afflicted with a negative status effect, but here’s the real kicker, Because Pirate skeleton grants Major protection and “
Minor Defile“ the minor defile is potentially counted as a negative status effect, it basically means you take 10% less damage, have reduced healing received and health recovery coupled with 15 seconds of up to 25% cost reduction to core combat skills.
It’s even better on Necromancers thanks to Curative Curse which increases healing done by 8% which in practical terms, mitigates the 8% reduced healing received but not the health recovery detriment. I give top benchmarks to Survival Instinct as it promotes sustainability and, As a Slotted CP, makes perfect sense.
TL:DR, Leave Survival Instinct “
As is.”
Edit: I thought It would affect ability cost, turns out I done goofed, fortunately I got it patched up. In earnest opinion, it is a good way to help with sustain.
Also regarding that question
@Vizirith, Minor defile is usually aligned with the Diseased Status effect, but on a side note, you did know that the minor defile from Pirate skeleton requires the player to “Take Damage” to Health so in a way, taking damage applies Major protection and minor defile in that manner could/can trigger survival instinct.
