There has been many posts about that costume. ZOS has not made one single comment about it, so the answer is a resounding , no.

Agreed, it ruins the costume and it's a shame the requests to fix it fall on deaf ears.

I honestly think ZOS is trolling us with this diaper. I can't picture an artist drawing that out with a straight face and saying, "Oh... that looks fabulous!" It defies all laws of physics and looks so out of place that it immediately draws the eye, rather than blending in to make a finished looking costume.

I think its there for the same reason our character cannot remove their underwear. Without it it may be too revealing. But it could have been done better especially on the side in my opinion

Almalexia's costume is far more "revealing." ZOS has already demonstrated their tolerance for gluteal display in this case. The Timbercrow diaper is far less revealing than what's already in game.... including the player character default underwear. So I think it's more likely just a case of poor design than some misplaced attempt at modesty. In fact, I would say it's far less modest for an adult character to be running around in Huggies than it would be to have an aesthetically pleasing suit bottom such as Almalexia's.

Normal underwear panties are far more revealing also. I have to believe there are numerous ways to fix this costume with bit of clever creativity. This potentially fantastic costume involves way too much blood or gold to get for it be left in such a state.

    FFXIV confirmed!!

Speaking of diapers, just saw someone in game wearing the bather towel dyed pink and a pink hat. Looked like a perverted baby with a diaper - revolting.

How can we need modesty in a game where the models don't even have [snip]?

The worst that could happen without this diaper is someone gets a glimpse of a 3D models smooth plastic looking undersides!

edit: Why would the word [snip] be bleeped in this forum? Are we all 4 year olds? Do we need to say "private parts" or "wee-wees"?

It is very poorly done, and the fact we can't dye it just makes it worse, because we can match skin to it, which means when sneaking, running, or mounted... ya get the nekkies underside look *facepalm*

C'mon @ZoS get the scissors out or fix the dang things!

I promise you, if people got to see the smooth areas with none of the 'bits' people would make forums demanding ZOS to make our characters 'anatomically correct' <--- pervs favorite term to sound less pervy.

It is actually weird that we are in some points not allowed to appropriate recognize whether the characters or creatures of Tamriel are male or female (and we do not want to speak of explicit representation here) - every day we can see, for example, dogs running around on the streets, which can also be recognized as male or female. And that's not only seen by people older than 18. Or let's think of ancient statues, which were often naked.

Please don't, I just got into RP in ESO and decided to RP an old, senile and incontinent orc barbarian. The diapers on this costume really makes the incontinence aspect of him feel so more realistic, would be a shame if the only good diapers in the game got removed.

Just say wedding tackle, smooth criminal down under, ect. I mean we cannot have medically accurate terminology casually thrown about or see a bit of skin around here lest we offend the onlline prudes. I mean look at Vivec floating around with his kibble and bits air drying out. This game is a M-rated for gosh sakes, it not like this game is anything like Conan .

While I don't care for the outfit, I also don't understand why it doesn't just use the default underwear design, which players already run around in plenty, instead of the awkward "Butt sheathe" thing it actually has.

    Yes, remove the diaper.

Any graphical artist who was responsible for creating that costume model should have pride in their work enough to fix it to look good. Just modify it to the same type of underwear as Almalexia has in the picture posted here also, thank you! :)

I mean it surely cannot be about modesty, just a graphical glitch that ended up on the costume, since one can run around nude and show more of body if wants than with that "diaper" part removed from one costume, come on ZOS surely you know this.

Now Timbercrow costume is graphically glitched thingy that looks like someone had to make it in a hurry, it happens with deadlines.

Just fix and be awesome, takes all 5 minutes from a single graphical artist. People spend 50 days ingame grinding for the costume.. your paying players, surely you can spend 5 minutes to fix it? :)

Also, pitchfork people here - be polite about it and can have a good chance of getting it fixed. ZOS did fix the Nerieneth weapon styles pack lighting issues also, so they do fix things afterwards. They got a lot of work on them right now for sure so have some patience! :p

Problem is there’s been absolutely zero response from ZOS about this, surely it’s easier to just fix the problem since they are definitely aware of it due to many forum threads about this. Also they do have the means to change existing costumes because I remember a while back they were changing stuff with the Emp costume so I don’t get why they don’t just fix this for the players.

Yeah, they change stuff all the time.

They modified the Singing Skald costume after less forum backlash than Timbercrow receives, even after people had paid for it with crowns. And with this being a no cash out of pocket item, you'd think they'd be more willing to actually listen to the community and make improvements.

There’s a lot more pressure on the devs to make sure a product available for premium currency (equivalent to cash in some jurisdictions) matches the official advertisement.

The timbercrow costume isn’t available for premium currency and wasn’t advertised visually by ZOS, so the same advertising concerns with the Singing Skald don’t exist in this case.
