Why are you forced to spend 1/3CP in each tree

A good and easy patch up of this cp system would just be to let everyone spend points in whichever tree you like.
No reason to be bound by 1/3 of you points HAVE to go into each tree and that would add to the so called "choice" they want us to have.

If you let people spend their points in whichever tree you like for example your going into a trial in 10 minutes and you are at cp 850.
You can put the 550 point you need into the blue 250 points you need into the red and you have a spare 50CP to put into some red passives or 50 CP into the green tree to unlock the move speed.
That rewards player with more CP by not being forced to respec every time they want to do PvE, node gather, decon, exploration, fishing etc. and lets lower CP players still achive max possible damage/mitigation at the lose of the roleplay green CP which you dont need in your trial and some red passives that are nice to have but you wont cry about them.

Also this would adress pvp to some extent cause the same thing applies you can take out all the green CPs you have and split it between red and blue trees, the higher CP player will still be rewarded equally as he would in PvE with stuff like mount speed and etc but the low CP player wont be at a large disadvantage in pvp.

Tbh this grind could be easily solvable by just having the player choose what points to gain because 1 green/1 blue/1 red and then repeat cycle is what people are most worried about when grinding out this new system, especially since people may not even want what's on other trees

IMO, the better question is "Why isn't the green tree more compelling?"
    Playing since beta...

Green tree is fine. Well mostly fine <Woodworking CP is confusing>. It shouldn't really effect combat stats at all, it isn't meant too.

It would be nice to get rid of Red/Green/Blue specific CP and just allow players to buy what they want. Also get rid of this link system, it only is more confusing when you realize that certain things are linked and others aren't. Placement for them is off as well.
