Perma werewolves in lore?

I was curious, in terms of TES lore, are there werewolves that are... stuck? As werewolves permanently? But not mindless savage beasts?
Hoping for more playable races

✭✭✭✭✭Plenty of werewolves in Glenumbra... and they all seem to be "perma" in their WW form. Granted, one could argue that someone might went insane & feral when he/she stays in Werewolf form for a year, but as far as I can tell it is possible lore-wise.
I think there was even a side quest in one of old TES games (can't remember exactly) in which there was someone who stayed in Werewolf form too long and could not transform back.Edited by Tommy_The_Gun on February 8, 2021 6:40PM0 -
