They mean combat pets, like the sorcerer Winged Twilight or warden bear. Those have collision because they're targetable in PvP, so they do block crafting tables, merchants, skyshards, etc, and people generally don't unsummon them in towns. Not a dealbreaker for me, but they are annoying and a bit of an eyesore.
