Is that an elder scrolls religion? I'm not familiar with it.
and Vivec... DESPITE being a poetic hump-jockey... is kind of the middle ground between the other two and isn't all that bad a guy.

The Tribunal are liar liar pants on fire false gods, the daedra are dangerous enough to be more trouble than they are worth getting involved with, the Aedra...are just kind of lame.
Better to achieve CHIM or zero sum trying.

Aren't the tribunal responsible for saving the Dunmer from being wiped out by the Dwemer like the snow elves were... they may be false but the daedra wouldn't have saved them.
TRIBUNAL: Almalexia is a lying, narcissistic, manipulative nutcase, Sotha Sil is a despondent negligent shut-in, and Vivec... DESPITE being a poetic hump-jockey... is kind of the middle ground between the other two and isn't all that bad a guy.

No? The Falmer had to shelter with the Dwemer because they were hard pressed by the Atmorans/Nords.
The Chimer on the other hand united with Dwemer to fight off the Nords, in a brief period of peace. Nerevar and Dumac become friends, Dumac gives Nerevar and Almalexia their swords Trueflame and Hopesfire for the wedding, etc. Unfortunately mutual distrust eventually breaks down the alliance and they go back to war.
The Chimer seem to have been battling the Dwemer strongholds at Red Mountain when Kagrenac did *whatever he did* with the Heart of Lorkhan and thus ended the war by making the Dwemer disappear.
At the time, the Tribunal were Nerevar's council and leaders in their own right. But it wasn't until they used the Heart of Lorkhan and the Tools over Nerevar's dead body objections that they gained their divine powers, and then proclaimed themselves as the gods of the Dunmer.
(Depending on which source(s) you believe, its left pretty open-ended if the Tribunal murdered Nerevar to get at the Tools or if he died after fighting Dagoth Ur, but it seems fairly clear that Nerevar objected to using the Tools.)

Vivec, not all that bad? I'm happy I wasn't drinking anything because I would have either choked or messed down my keyboard. Your discription of Almalexia fits Vivec just as well. I always find it amusing when people say he's a good or not that bad person. He and Almalexia can fight about the top spot and I'm not sure who would win. He's a horrible person.

Sotha Sil is clearly the best of the Tribunal and he's quite negligent.

Nerevar doing that to the Dwemer though was with the aid of his council, they saved the Dunmer where the daedra would have let them perish...probably like the daedra did so much for the snow elves
The most beneficial in ESO's time is the Tribunal. The most beneficial across the entire timeline is the three good Daedra simply because you don't want to get on their bad side but the Aedra hardly care if you don't worship them, they won't retaliate.
