Aetherial Well - Still no dummy reset?

"New Crown Store Furnishing: Aetherial Well

The Aetherial Well is available for testing during this PTS cycle. This furnishing can be found in the Crown Store, or in the Services category, under the new Recovery subcategory. When placed in a home, you and your guests can draw power from this ancient relic to fully restore your Health, Magicka, Stamina, and Ultimate."

So I do appreciate this new well, as people often use their test dummies to get ulti back before a parse, or duel or before a raid. But one thing we have asked for since the beginning of the implementation of the dummy is for the house owner and approved guests to be able to easily reset the dummy to full health without having to remove and add back the dummy (which guests can't do anyway). Or even perhaps just have the dummy reset to full health after being out of combat. Frequently people just want to test a roto for a bit on the 21 mil or screw up the roto and want to start over. It sucks when you are 2 mill into a 21 mil and want to reset the parse. If it reset automatically out of combat, by the time you are done going to your well for resource replenishment, your dummy is reset and ready to go.

Why is this still not discussed in any patch notes/updates after all this time?????

Be great if they had this in the game, but this addon works pretty well (it automates putting the dummy in and out of house inventory): https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info2492-TargetDummyTools.html

Useless on consoles and for anyone who isn't the house owner. Wouldn't be of any use in the game since if you're the house owner you could literally go into the build menu and replace the dummy as is.

We do need somehow to reset it.

While it has its limitations, if you're on a PC the addon is hardly useless. It it takes all of about 1 second to automate the in-and-out of house inventory. I find it very useful.

That being said, a way to reset a 21 mil target dummy in the game would be awesome.

Sure, if you're on PC and the house owner it's fine but those options aren't available to everyone. It's okay to suggest using an add-on as a workaround but we shouldn't be using the existence of add-ons to excuse ZoS from adding important functionality that would benefit everyone.

Add-ons only serve to show how much useful functionality is missing from the core game. In an ideal world they would quickly become redundant as ZoS would notice how many people are using add-ons that provide particular functionality, take that as a demand signal and implement the functionality into the game. They've made a tiny start with ability timers, sadly it needs a lot more work to reach the same level as the add-ons (honestly... Ability timers was a solved problem, I don't understand how ZoS implemented it so much worse, I think if they had to reinvent the wheel they'd make it square...) but it's a start.

So yes please ZoS, add a means of resetting dummies into the base game so it's available to everyone on all platforms and let's make an add-on redundant.

Uhhh I said it's useless on consoles and if you're not the house owner, not "it's useless for everyone on PC including house owners"?
