Why is it so hard to reset my password?

I am trying to re-attach my twitch account to my console account. It keeps asking me a security question that I've never answered right, and cannot figure out how to change.

I've been locked out of my PC account for almost a year. Why is this not more streamlined?

Sadly, they'll tell you to open a ticket, but that's down right now.

# 210126-006009 is my current one, but its referring to my other account, at a different email. Which I can't submit a ticket for because I need to login to do that.
